Chapter I: The war has begun

Many thought that this day was near, but they did not imagine that it was already passing that day when everything would become mere history.

Some believe in the existence of "extraterrestrial" life, others think it's crazy, some don't even bother to think about it. There are those who simply decide to live their life as if they were the only one on the planet and the damage they could cause with their actions.

On any given day, which could be today or tomorrow, while the earth is crying out to be heard, there are those who seem to be preoccupied with dominating the masses without thinking that we could be at a point where there will be no earth to support those masses of people.

The craving for power can consume many, enter their veins and be their motive in life, control, manage power at will so that there is no one above them, or at least that is what they prefer to believe.

The history of humanity has been marked by those individuals expressed in monarchies, religious leaders, politicians, currently some great businessmen, government leaders, who - unfortunately - have power (often absolute) over large areas of land, over the economy, in short, they are masters and lords, even sometimes just for being the son of someone who enjoyed this power .

Wars are part of world history, many claim that they are the ones that have made possible the scientific, armament, health progress, looking to see the positive side of the matter, however, does one really need to go to war to be able to advance?, I wonder.

But I have deviated a little from the initial subject, not because it is unrelated, but rather because these are my last thoughts before this day ends, which I do not know if it will end for me, for everyone or for the world.

As I said at the beginning, the war has begun... if, armies from different countries are facing each other, by millions the deaths are recorded, hundreds of fields devastated, animals dead in a matter of seconds, infrastructures that took up to decades to build destroyed in a matter of seconds. **It seems that even in the last few days it is easier to destroy than to build.

A nuclear bombardment by the great powers has been unleashed in every corner of the world, there is no truce, just a matter of hours, and the most powerful man-made energy is used against itself. **After a few days, the planet is inhospitable, there is almost no being that can survive in such conditions.

A deathly silence is the sound now...

Capítulo I: La guerra ha empezado

Muchos pensaban que este día estaba cerca, pero no imaginaron que ya estaba transcurriendo ese día en el que todo pasaría a ser mera historia.

Algunos creen la existencia de vida extraterrestre, otros piensan que es una locura, también hay quien ni se preocupa en pensar en ello. No falta quien sencillamente decide vivir su vida como si fuera el único sobre el planeta y el daño que pudiera causar con sus acciones.

Un día cualquiera, que podría ser hoy o mañana, mientras la tierra clama ser escuchada, hay quienes parecen estar preocupados en dominar a las masas sin pensar en que podríamos estar en un punto en el que no habrá tierra que sostenga a esas masas de población.

Las ansias de poder pueden consumir a muchos, incorporarse en sus venas y ser su motivo de vida, controlar, manejar el poder a su antojo de manera tal que no haya alguien por encima de ellos, o por lo menos eso prefieren creer.

La historia de la humanidad ha estado marcada por esos individuos expresados en monarquías, jefes religiosos, políticos, actualmente algunos grandes empresarios, líderes de gobierno, que –lamentablemente- tienen poder (muchas veces absoluto) sobre grandes extensiones de terreno, sobre la economía, en fin, son amos y señores, incluso en ocasiones sólo por ser hijo de alguien que gozaba de este poder…

Las guerras forman parte de la historia mundial, muchos afirman que son las que han hecho posible el avance científico, armamentista, en materia de salud, buscando ver el lado positivo del asunto, sin embargo, ¿realmente es necesario entrar en guerras para poder avanzar?, me pregunto.

Pero me he desviado un poco del tema de inicio, no porque no esté relacionado, sino más bien son mis últimas reflexiones antes de que termine este día, que no se si terminara para mí, para todos o para el mundo.

Como lo dije al principio, la guerra ha empezado… si, ejércitos de distintos países se enfrentan, por millones se registran las muertes, cientos de campos devastados, animales muertos en cuestión de segundos, infraestructuras que tardaron hasta décadas en construir destruidas en cuestión de segundos. Parece ser que hasta en los últimos días es más fácil destruir que construir.

Un bombardeo nuclear por parte de las grandes potencias se ha desbordado por cada rincón del mundo, no hay tregua, cuestión de horas y la energía más poderosa creada por el hombre es usado en contra de sí mismo. Pasado unos días, el planeta está inhóspito, casi no hay ser que puedo sobrevivir en semejantes condiciones.
