How to improve your artwork. TIP#2 (Use references images).

Good day everybody.
I have been done 2 post to give some advice about how to improve your artwork as an artist when you are drawing.

For the tip #2. Use reference image. I mean when you are drawing don't be ashamed to used photo as reference, as an artist we do not memorize all the angle of body human, so is important has a reference to understand the angle of the face, the perspective of body, the size of face respect of body and go on. Some person don't like to take photo reference because they think that can be a plagiarism. It does not a plagiarism because you are going to use some part of photo (some times you can exaggerated and remake the image) and mixed with your imagination or also mixed with another photo. Consider that reference image help you to understand what you are drawing, we use our eyes and tried to understand how it is build geometrically. The advice is take the photo just a reference to help you not like a copy. fell free to modify the character, change the hair, change the noise, or add some incredible details. The photo help you to understand the body structure but we do not need to recreated exactly how the photo looks. Also you can mixed many photo reference to make something new an unique.

Again do not be ashamed to use photo reference, many artist don't talk about it, but everyone used it. As more as you practice with reference you are going to learn how to draw a face in particular angle, you are going to lear how the body human is and after many practice you are going to draw even without reference. But the start is draw what we see.
