Achievement 2 : Basic Security On Steemit
Hello my dear steemians. My achievement first has been verified successfully and now I am here with my second achievement basid on basic security on seemit.
The main purpose of doing this second achievement is that the users should know how to secure and how to use their wallet.
So i am here to answer some questions about steemit security.
How can i keep my steemit account secure?
First of all we should save our all passwords in a safe document, and keep it secret from others and don't share with anyone.
Why should I be careful with my Master password?
The master password is the only way from which we can get all the keys of our steemit account, by chance if someone knows your master password he can get all the access and keys of your account and can steal all your steems.
What are my different keys for?
1.*Posting key : * It is used for publish a post for voting ,comments, follow people, resteem content and mute account.
2.Active key: This key is used for exchanging tokens, transfering tokens, vote for witness and SBD conversion.
3.Owner key/Private key: The owner key is used for to change the other keys it is the most important key and should be securely stored offline.
4.Memo key: The memo key is used to sent an encrypted message or to view an encrypted message this key is not used commonly.
Do you know how to transfer steem?
Yes, i know and let me show you different steps used in transfering steem.

Login into my wallet
Step 2
Click on transfer
Step 3
Transfer to account
*Enter the user name of the steemit user for transfer and enter next to confirm, and then in second page click ok and the transition will done successfully. And it needs activation key.
**Do you know how to powerup steem? **
Ya, i know and let me show you its process.
Step 1
Login into my wallet
Step 2
Click on the arrow which is next to steem and then click on the powerup option
Step 3
Convert to steempower
Select the amount and click power up
Step 4
Confirm the details and click ok. It needs the active key to complete its process.
