Today is the day of Achievement 2!
Today I will tell you about the basics of Steemit security. So let's start.
Question 1: Have you retrieve all your keys on Steemit?
Yes, I got all my keys.
Question 2: Do you know each of these key functions and restrictions?
Yes, I know these basic operations and restrictions. Let me explain to you too.
Master Key:
This is the most important password. You should keep this password with care. If third parties have access to this password, they can change your other passwords. It can steal your account.
Posting Key:
This key is a key we can use for social networking actions such as posting, commenting, and voting. I recommend using this key for daily entries. It allows you to use the master password that I mentioned above less often and reduces the risk of your account being stolen.
Active Key:
You can think of this key as your stock market key. It is for sensitive tasks such as converting, transferring tokens, placing market orders. This key is as important as the master key. Your funds should be carefully stored so that they are not stolen.
Owner Key:
The owner key is to be used only when needed. It should only be used to recover the account and should be stored offline. It is the strongest key. Because it can change any key of the account.
Memo Key:
Used for crypto note when transferring money. It helps us to decrypt the passwords in the notes.
Question 3: How do you plan to keep your master password?
I keep my master password in my google account. My Google account is protected with two-step verification. I also keep a copy in an offline tool as a backup.
Question 4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Yes I know. Let me show you too.
First, we go to Steemit.com.
From there we enter our wallet(Balances).
Click on the arrow on STEEM.
Click on Transfer.
We enter the username and the amount you want to send.
We click Next and Ok.
Then we enter the required key and our transfer process is complete.
Question 5: Do you know how to power up your STEEM?
Yes I know. Let me show you this one last time. Let's make SP together.
First, we go to Steemit.com.
From there we enter our wallet(Balances).
- We click on the drop-down arrow and select the Power Up.
We enter the amount of STEEM to be boosted.
Click on Power Up and Ok.
After entering the required key, we strengthen our account.
Thus, we have finished the Achievement 2. Thank you for reading.
