Achievement 2 @thimalteb- Basic Security on Steem

After been in the Steemit platform for nearly 3 months I thought of doing the achievement 2, which is based on the security of the steemit platform. I got the chance to work with some of the keys during this few days with the steem world. Before 3 months when I created the account, I got all the keys from a pdf document via an email. Once I got that I got to know that it should be kept in a safer place for the entire steemit career. So however I decided to save the PDF document in my laptop, my wife's laptop and in an external hard disk. Also I got and copy and filed it in our bank document files.

No	Key	Description
1.	Private posting key	This key will only use for primary tasks, such as to logging to the steemit platform, posting, blogging, voting and resteem
2.	Private memo key	This is only use for encrypt and decrypt private messages coming via the steemit acount.This key is not a such a important key. This is using only for communication purposes.
3.	Private active key	This is a really important key. When considering about your wallet it will help you to do your wallet related and monetary actions such as transferring and saving SBD & STEEM. This is the key that you have to use for the power up and power down system. Also you can use this key to change your profile picture in steemit.
4.	Owner key	Everything the posting key and the active key can do, this key can do. This key is one of the most powerful keys in the steemit platform. If your account is comprised, then using this key you can recover it.
5.	Master Password	This is the boss of all the other keys. This will be used for generate all the other keys. So this is the heart of steemit keys. You have to look after it very well.

To save this in a proper and a safe way, I got a hard copy and hided it in my personal file.

Way to transfer the steem token to another steem user.

1.Click on the wallet tab

2.Then click on the drop down button of the tokens which you want to transfer. It can be either Steem or SBD.

1. Then click on transfer button.

1. With the window you get type the senders steemit user name and amount you want to transfer.
   

   

2. The memo is just like a remark. It is ok to type your name. Then click on next to do the transfer proceeding.

Way to power up

You can power up using steem token. If you have any SBD tokens, then it is better to transfer it to steem. Then follow the above 1st two steps and then select power up.

Then put the amount you want to power up and then click on power up.

So this is my achievement 2 post and I hope to do the other achievements as soon as possible.
