As I have completed my first 2 achievements tasks so let's start our achievement 3 here. The topic of discussion for this task is Plagiarism.

Plagiarism

Whenever we heard the word "Plagiarism", the first thing which comes in our mind is that what it is? So, firstly we have to know about plagiarism. Plagiarism is actually a process or a method that is considered to be in a negative sense. The word 'Plagiarism' means 'To copy or steal someone's thing'. In the concept of Content Etiquette, the plagiarism term is used where the data of someone or the observation of someone is utilized without giving it any credit to increase the impression of that content.

In the Steemit world, plagiarism is discouraged greatly as it is really a bad habit. Suppose, we find a quote or a sentence from the internet which is written by someone else and we use that text in our blog or post then the thing will be considered to be plagiarism and the content (post or blog) is said to be Plagiarised content. The plagiarized content is greatly discouraged in the Steemit platform and the @endingplagiarism team is very active to detect such content and give it downvotes or discourage the users that are spreading the plagiarized content. So, this is what we call Plagiarism.

Disadvantages of Plagiarized content

As I have told before that the plagiarism is a very bad habit and considered to be a very bad thing in the Steemit platform as well so there are some disadvantages of spreading the plagiarized content on Steemit.

• The plagiarized content is not supported in any of the communities.

• The plagiarized content is discouraged in such a way that if the plagiarism is detected then the post will be downvoted and considered to be immoral.

• Plagiarism is also a bad act in the case of personal respect. The community members and the steemit team look at the plagiarist with a black eye.

Prevention of Plagiarism

So, the above discussion told us that plagiarism is really dangerous for us throughout the journey on the Steemit platform. So, it is better to avoid plagiarism by considering the following precautions.

• The very first thing and the best way to prevent plagiarism is to not take anything from the google or internet. Use your own vocabulary and ideas about the content to create quality content. This is the best way to avoid plagiarism.

• Secondly, if something impresses you a lot from the internet and you want to use that thing in your content then you must have to completely cite the copied text, image, or anything else. Here the word 'cite' means to give the proper source of the copied thing by pasting a link of that thing to avoid plagiarism.

• Another thing which is considered to be useful in this regard is that if we want to take any pictures from the internet then use the copy-right free images. Some of the websites recommended by the steemit team to seek the copy-right free images are as follow:

Now, here is the sentence which is asked to put in the post.
