HOW CURATION WORKS ON STEEMIT.

Curation reward is the distributed reward you get from voting a Post. Curation is the act of voting on posts or comments. Voting is the act of appreciating quality content on Steem Blockchain by clicking the green up ward looking arrow.

Note: When you vote you distribute rewards from the reward pool to various author post or comment.

1 Minute	20%	80%
2 Minute	40%	60%
3 Minute	60%	40%
4 Minute	80%	20%
5 Minute	100%	0%

Voting Mana( a round like structure) is a factor used to check voting power , it is highest at 100% but reduce by 2% when your voting is done at a power of 100% and it recharges by 20% daily.
To check your voting mana you have to go to steemscan.com Then you go to dashboard
you see it at the top.

WHEN YOU VOTE BEFORE THE FIVE(5) MINUTES MARK.

When a post is voteed on. 50% reward goes to the author and the other 50% goes to the voters. If the voter(curator)votes a post before the 5 minutes mark, the voter won't receive his full reward. Below is the summarizes of what you will receive when you vote before the five minute mark.
