Achievement 1: My Introductory Post to Steemit by @solomina

Hello lovely people of steemit. I am very happy and glad to be with you here today to make introductions about myself to you guys.

I'm called Solomon Tawiah but that's only used officially. Friends and family often call me solomina or Mina. It's been 24 years since I was born and throughout my life, I've had multiple experiences which have really helped me improve upon my life.

I am the second child of my parents with 3 other siblings who are so dear to my heart, especially the younger ones. All my strife in this life is usually for the betterment of their lives. The first born is a girl, my mentor.

I'm a student of University of Development Studies in Navrongo and I'm Geology student. I hope my hardwork on my studies pays when I complete school.
I'm from Tarkwa Banso in the Western Region of Ghana. The city is well known for its mining activities which even encouraged me to pursue the course I'm doing now.

I got introduced to steemit by some course mates; but the one who actually helped me with a lot of the things on steemit is @eosxiomara.

@blayforson and @njaywan also mentored me.
I've actually heard about some cryptocurrencies, especially the prominent one which is bitcoin. But I don't really know a lot about any other crypto. But with the help of my friends and other informative posts on steemit, I'm sure I'll learn a lot about cryptocurrencies.

I have a lot of hobbies but a few I'd like to mention are, watching football matches(even the highlights of dead matches), playing soccer games, driving and also reading.
I like music too. But my ultimate interest is in the course I'm doing, geology.
I like going out unto the field to explore Geological features and stuff associated with it.

I'm into a personal business too which earns me some small tokens. Sometimes, I drive a cab to also earn something for myself and my little siblings.

I'm not a hater of people but some of the things I don't really cherish about people is too much pride and ego. Some people think others are just not good enough and think they are way better than others, I despise that.

By joining steemit, I'm hoping to get better with my writing skills and also have a major positive impact on the platform likewise it having an impact on me. I've seen how my friends are earning and also getting better in life, and also in class. It has made me realise steemit has almost every information one needs to survive and to be educated since there are numerous blogs posted everyday.
I'll help in every way I can to make Steemit better and do my possible best to abide by the rules of every community I join( I heard there are a lot of strict rules here).
As I'm interested in nature and Geological features, I'd like to join the #steemgeography community for starts as proposed by my friends. As time moves on I know there will be more communities I'll be interested to join.

I'll once again thank @njaywan for the amazing insight on steemit and also introducing steemit to my friends who have also in turn done same to me.
