Good day fellow steemians, Happy new week everyone. Having completed my achievement 1 which got me verified, today I am on the verge of completing my achievement 2 task, the Basic Security on Steemit. My very first day on Steemit got my tongue wagged. I mean other platforms are not this secured because they only have provisions for personal passwords but on Steemit, the case is totally different. The security keys on Steemit have made it superior over other platforms considering the fact that no one can access your Steemit account unless the keys are being shared.

Yes, I retrieved my Steemit keys the day I signed up on the platform. I did this by downloading the PDF file that contains all the keys and I saved it to avoid any loss or compromise of my account.

Yes, I am aware that each of these keys have their unique functions and I know them. Below are the functions of these unique keys:

• Posting key : This key is primarily used for logging into your Steemit accounts. It can also be used to perform other Steemit activities like posting, commenting and upvoting.

• Private active key : The active key is used for transactions, transferring of tokens, powering up and powering down. It must be protected at all cost because it is used for wallet related actions.

• Private Master key : it is called the Master key because it is superior over other keys. It can be used to generate the file that contains all other keys.

• Private owner key : this key is used mainly to reset all other keys. It can as well be used to recover a compromised account.

• Private memo key : This particular key is used for decryption of private transfer memos.

I am aware that the master password has control over all other keys so, I planned to save it on my email and Google drive which I did because I believe it is safe there.

Yes, I know how to transfer my liquid steem token to another account and below is how I transferred 0.002 steem to my friend.

• First of all, I clicked on the "wallet" section on my profile and I logged in using my username and private posting key

• After that, I clicked on my steem balance which shows some options that included "transfer" and I clicked on the transfer.

• After loading, a page appeared that shows where to input the username of the user I am transferring to and the amount I intend to transfer which I did.

• After inputting the details, I clicked "Next", confirmed the transaction details, inputted my private posting key and clicked "Okay".
  And the transaction was successful.

Yes, powering up is almost the same steps with transferring but just some slight difference between the two actions.

In conclusion, I am very happy to be on this great platform, completing my achievement 1 and 2 tasks and I look forward to completing my achievement 3 task on plagiarism any moment from now.
