Assalam-O-Alaikum hope you all are fine & great. Today we will discuss Achievement 6. In this post, we'll talk about voting, curating, and communities in general.

1. Do you understand how voting and curation work in steemit?

Each post pays out after seven days. This payout is being split between the author and the curators. The author is the creator of the post and the author gets half of the amount on the post while curators are the individuals who voted the post (upvote) the other 50% half are shared among them.

2. What happened if you vote for a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?

When we upvote or vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting, we will lose part of our curation reward, and also the part which is lost will go to the reward pool. See below a tabular description of the curation reward percentage (%) and also the time.

There are two types of votes which are upvote, and downvote. If you love a post/content, you recognize the content by upvoting it. If you also have more SP (which is Steem Power), your vote will impact the rewards than a user with a smaller SP. It also relies upon the voting mana which you hold. It is initially set to 100%. What's more, for each 100% vote, your cast will utilize 2%.

A post can be downvoted for some reason, most times if a post is oppressive or the post doesn't follow set rules. It is dependent upon us on the off chance that you need to follow this convention. Moreover, users may leave a comment describing why they downvoted, anyway once in a while they may not.

3. Who will you vote for Steem Witness ? and Why?

Witnesses are usually selected by the steem communities in order to create blocks for the steemit blockchain. I will decide in favor of @steemchiller and one reason is that he made @steemworld.org, and also vote @justyy who also made @steemyy.com. These superb tools have been of incredible assistance in steemit.

4. Which community will you join in Steemit, and why?
