I am not using any, and I suppose that is not necessary for the verification as I've checked others posts they didn't mention theirs.
It is necessary to provide any credentials along with the verification picture. If you don't use social media, you can show your any academic achievement bearing your name or picture.

Do I need to update my identity card here, as I have seen other introduction posts they didn't provide any identity detail there.
You must be checking old posts. Check recent ones. We ask for any identity that newcomers can easily and comfortably provide. Most people share their social media link. Some share their credentials from academic records.
