Hello Steemians !

I am really happy to say that I could complete every Achievement task up to Achievement 6. This is my final achievement task. When I look back on my journey so far, I feel that I have been able to gain a great knowledge about this platform. So, here I am going to prove it by my last Achievement task which is related to "Understanding Curation and Community”.

This is my answers and explanations for given questions

1) Do you understand how voting and curation work in steemit?

Of course I can understand. In steemit,users can be rewarded by posting and curating. If we have sufficient steem power to vote others, we can get curation rewards and the author can also get rewards. Basically, Curators are given 50% of the post reward and 50% post reward to the author. Curators are given 50% of the post reward. whereas the other 50% goes to the author. The distribution of the curation reward depends on the amount of SP the user has. The more steem power the greater the influence on the curation reward.

When we vote for others, it reduces our voting power. Every 100% vote we have to sacrifice 2% of our remaining voting power (Voting mana). However, it will automatically recharge our voting power by 20% each day. So, we have to manage our voting power to work well. Furthermore,we should have more than 500sp to manage our voting power when we vote for someone.

2) What happened if you vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?

Basically, we know that the rewards are allocated to 50% of the payout for the author and 50% of the payout for the curator. So, when we vote before 5 minutes marks after posting, we will receive less than 100% by the percentage of 50%. That means, the curator can get 100% of the rewards after 5 minutes of the publishing of the post.

However, it depends on the duration of each minute. Here I have categorized it by duration.

3) Who will you vote for Steem Witness ? and Why?

The Steem blockchain witnesses to produce a new block for every 3 seconds. And also, 21 witness nodes produce 21 blocks in each 63-second round. We can vote up to 30 witnesses. If we have moresteem power,we can more weight on our vote to push the witness up in the rank of top 21 witnesses. They can be paid with steem power for the blocks that they create and it is an oppertunity to get more votes.

Here I have selected @justyy and @steemchiller for steem witness as they have created an important tools tools on behalf of steem blockchain.

4) Which community will you join in Steemit, and why?

There are a lot of communities in the steemit platform. Actually, every single one is worth it. However, here I have included my favourite communities among them.

Newcomers' Community : This community is very important for me. Because, I got advanced knowledge about this steemit platform with the help of this community.
Steemit Nursery : This community is very helpful for every newcomers. After our verification post for Newcomers' Community, we can start our journey through Steemit Nursery. We can learn more about Steemit.
Sri Lanka-ශ්‍රී ලංකා : This is the second community I'm associated with Steemit. Actually, I got a lot of advice from this community to be a part of steemit platform. Everyone in this community is very helpful and very supportive.

This is all about my Achievement 6 and I hope everybody can understand my explanation well. I specially thanks to @cryptokannon and @besticofinder who supported me to achieve these targets.
