Hi Steemians,

Thanks for all the upvotes and comments on my Achievement 5 Task 1 post on reviewing Steemworld.org. Today I moved on my journey of completing my tasks which is my review on Steemscan.com which is another platform on the SteemBlockchain helping us to gain more insight into Steemit. Thanks also to @cryptokannon and @yohan2on for their mentorship on reviewing Steemscan.

Steemscan is one of the additional platforms on the SteemBlockchain which helps us to know the current price of steem in relation to other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and every transaction that takes place on the SteemBlockcahin. It gives us the skeleton of the SteemBlockchain. It was developed by @futureshock.

Explain the current Steem price and volumes on the date of submission of this review?

The current price of Steem to the dollar is $1.19. This means that One(1) Steem coin is equivalent to $1.19 on the cryptocoin market as per 9th May, 2021 at 10:43 pm. The volume of steem means the amount of the steem coins traded in the last 24 hours in a particular cryptomarket. The current volume of steem is 51,979.11 in the last 24 hours(day).

Explain what all information is shown under latest transactions and latest blocks section?

Latest Transactions

The latest transactions show the activities of steemians on the Steem Blockchain like Upvoting, downvoting, rewards and comments. This tab shows every things as they are categorized under various titles like Block ID, ID, Sender, Receiver/Permlink/Id, Type and Amount. This feature gives us the total breakdown of every transaction or activities of every user on Steemit.

Latest Blocks

The latest blocks also give us the ID and the block transaction that had taken place on the SteemBlockchain.

Explain what all information is shown under Witnesses section and steps to vote a Witness?

Witnesses are the users on the SteemBlockchain who help the block to function smoothly without any laspes. They create blocks every three(3) seconds(per my research) to help the smooth running of the steemblockchain. The witnesses section shows the current price of Steem, the height of the block, the supply of steem in the cryptomarket. It also further show the last block height and the current witness who created it as shown in the diagram below. You can vote for the by just clicking on the vote to give them vote.

Explain what is DApps and mention 3 DApps which you have already used or may use in future as per your interest?

DApps platform have a collection of specialized steem extension apps that enables steem users to locate them shortly as their links are found them. These apps comes in different varieties like social , finance, gaming, and health apps with it purpose to make the steem feel happy and motivated to be on the Steemblockchain. Some of these apps are Steemit, Appics, Steemworld, and Krypto games.

Explain how to use "Quick Convert" and what is the fee charged for different Steem amount for withdrawal?

Quick Convert give you the accurate amount you will receive if you decide to convert an amount of Steem. In doing so, you must decide on the cryptocurrency you wish to convert to which is whether USDT, BTC or TRX. It also makes available the fee charge in every transaction made. The following are the fees charge when you convert 100 Steem to either of the following cryptocurrency;

• USDT fee is 1.22637881
• BTC fee is 0.00097176
• TRX fee is 7.01000081

Explain what information is provided by the "Search" feature?

The Search feature help in looking for Blocks, Transactions, Account or witness on the SteemBlockchain as you easily type in the name of the information you want.
Additional parameters like type, amount and dates helps to narrow the search to the specific transaction you are looking for.
