PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism simply means that using or stealing authors idea or work into your own content without any permission by them.
Sharing and copying people's idea on the internet is never a bad deed but the problem about all that is not acknowledging or recognising the main author.

There are many ways in which one can plagiarise but below are some the common types and they are;

1.DIRECT PLAGIARISM
Is the word for word transcription of a section or whole of someone's work without any attribution or any quotation marks.

2.MOSAIC PLAGIARISM
This mostly occurs when
students borrow phrases from a source without using any quotation marks or find synonyms for the author's language while keeping to the same general structure and meaning of the original.

3.SELF PLAGIARISM
This occurs when a student submits his or her own previous work, or mixes part of previous work, without permission from all professors involved.

4.ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM
This occurs when a person neglects to cite their sources or unintentionally paraphrases a source by using similar words, groups of words and/or sentence structure without attribution
