Achievement2 @p-kay Task: Basic Security on steem

I have received all my keys on Steemit after signing up to Steemit.

This keys include Posting key, Active key, Owner key__, __ Memo key__, Master password. The function and limitations are stated below.
To begin with, posting key permit accounts to post, comment, edit, vote, resteem, and follow or mute other accounts. Most users should be logging into Steemit every day with the posting key.
Also, active key is a key intended for more sensitive activities such as transferring funds, power up/down transactions, converting Steem Dollars, voting for witnesses, updating profile details and avatar, and placing a market order.

Further more,owner key is only meant for use when absolutely essential. It is the most potent key because it can change any key of an account and also the owner key preferably, it is meant to be stored offline, and only used to recover a hacked account.

Memo key is used for encrypting and decrypting memos when sending funds.

Master Password as the name implies is used to produce all the other keys, in addition to the Owner Key. Therefore the master password will be kept well and retrieved it offline. Can be stored on external storage devices and can be printed on hard copies as well.

The steps to transfer steem token to another steem user account are as follows;

Step1: Login into your account with your steemit ID and active key password.

Step2: Click the arrow near the steem or steem dollars and click the transfer option.

Step 3: Enter the user name that whom you want to transfer the amount that you want to transfer, put some remarks in the memo.

Step4: Click OK to confirm.

Step 5: It will ask the owner's key or active key to transfer the amount, copy and paste the entire key to transfer. The amount will be transferred in the a few seconds.

This is also how to power up your steem.
step 1:
Log in to your account and go to the wallet, click on the steem drop-down menu and click power up.

Step 2:
A new pop up window will appear with the title of "Convert to STEEM POWER", type the amount you want to transfer to increase your steem power(SP), and click powerup

Step 3:
Click 'OK' to confirm it.

Step 4:
Copy the master password or owner key and paste it there, I recommend using the owner key for these kinds of transactions.

Step 5:
The power will be increased check the wallet to see it reflected in your steem power(SP)
