Today I am writing Content Etiquette that has to follow in steemit.

This post is basically all about Plagiarism and how to avoid that in our post.

Q. What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism simply means copy other authors' work and republish the content in our blog without their permission. It is very unethical in blogging. If we copy other content improves our skills. Its effect on your image also.

Oxford University Plagiarism Meaning

Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition. Plagiarism may be intentional or reckless, or unintentional. Under the regulations for examinations, intentional or reckless plagiarism is a disciplinary offence.^Source

Steps to avoiding plagiarism:

Give proper time for writing

Please give proper time to write a post. Sometimes plagiarism happens because of a lack of time to write an article. So make a proper schedule and reserve at least 2 hours daily to write an article.

Read as many as post or article

Please read as many as a possible article. Sometimes we read content from one resource and that causes plagiarism. We need to read as many posts or articles on the topic which we are plan to write.

Work on your own idea

Start working on your own idea and If you work on your idea then definitely your article is unique and It will be appreciated by your readers also.

Paraphrasing

If you read some good post anywhere then only tried to copy their idea, not the whole post. Tried to write the post in your own word. Please ensure that you are accurately delivering the original idea through your post.

Use Plagiarism Checkers Tools

Please use the plagiarism checker tool for the content. Before posting any content please check content on the plagiarism checker tool. It will help to avoid plagiarism in your content.

Regarding Plagiarism, I was already aware but doing this task helped me gain a good amount of knowledge to avoid Plagiarism, We all can be creative minds just we need to stop/avoid Plagiarism, make sure we all follow the content etiquette.

I have gone through all the documents and posts related to Plagiarism and understood the Steemit Etiquette.
