Hello everyone I hope you will be enjoying good heth by the grace of Almighty Allah who is most merciful and gracious to everyone.
Now I am here to complete the achievement 6 Task in which we will talk and understand Curation and Community
Do you understand how voting and curation work in steemit?
Steemit is a Decentralised social media platform which rewards users for their activities. It works with the Proof of Brain (PoB) and Delegated Proof of Work (DPoW).
In the steemit when the users do posts these posts are visited by the team and if these posts prove to be quality content then the steemit team appreciate the content creators by upvoting their posts. It is just like other social media platforms such as Facebook in which we receive likes but here we receive upvotes.
On the other hand if your post is plagiarized or your post is about any hate then you may receive downvotes. By the downvotes the reward on your post may disappear completely or miner according to the SP of downvoter. Due to this your post may also become disappear.
It is the wonderything that if you upvote others then you receive the 50% of your upvote back as a curation reward. It is the fixed. But for this purpose you have need of more steem power to get better curation rewards. Do it is better to power up all the time. In this way you will be able to govern by holding a lot of SP.
What happened if we vote a post before 5 minutes marks after posting?
As w know that the payout reward is fix in which 50% reward goes to author and then 50% reward goes to the curator. But there is a change when we upvote a post after just 5 minutes. It is very interesting to know that if we upvote after 5 minutes then we receive 100% reward as a curation reward and the author gets nothing.
So it is better to know before upvoting a post that how old the post is by maintaining this we can earn more.
Who will you vote for Steem Witness ? and Why?
As witnesses are handling the Steem blockchain very well as they are doing great job. I will vote for the @steemchiller as he has made a wonderful tool of steemworld.org to provide many unique facilities to the Steem blockchain. And I have voted for him as he is trying to update the new features.
Secondly I will vote to the @justyy because he is the founder of steemyy.com and manager of account creation tool. So we should support him as his work is extraordinary.
Which community will you join in Steemit, and why?
As I am a blogger and a content creator do I would like to join Steemit Cryptoacademy and I will also join those communities in which the wonderful and interesting contests are going on. Because I like to participate in them.
But bring the Pakistani user my preferences are for the Steemit Pakistan because it is going very well as the CRs @haidermehdi, @hassanabid, @rashid001 and the newly appointed CRs @yousafharoonkhan, and @vvarishayy are doing well and working for the day and night and organising different weekly contests and supporting Pakistani active users.
Secondly I myself the founder of a community Steemit Tigers so I also work in it on daily basis.
So it is all about the curation and community system and I have tried my best to explain each and everything.
