ACHIEVEMENT 5 TASK 2 by @mimi23: REVIEW STEEMSCAN.COM

Hello steemains, I will be writing on Achievement 5 task 2 which talks about steemscan.com as on of the steem tools that is used by steemit users. I will first explain what is steemscan.

Steemscan is one of the steem tools that is used to convert steem to cryptocurrencies like USDT, BTC and TRX. Steemscan is a most comfortable blockchain explorer that a steemit user use to view account summary, profit details, wallet contents, savings as well as details of activity carried out by the account. Steemscan allow a steemit user to trace the activity of user as well as find out every long forgotten transaction details.
1) Please explain the current steem price and volume on the date of submission of the review?
Current steem price is the ongoing/present day price of steem in the market in that a steemit user will know the price of steem at a particular time and a particular day. The screenshot below shows that the current steem price as at 5.16pm 20th September 2021 is 0.52 STEEM/USD.

Volume implies the number of tokens traded within a certain period of time. The screenshot below shows the volume on the date on submission.

2) Please explain what all information is shown under latest transaction and latest blocks section?
The information under latest transaction and latest blocks section shows all manner of transaction that are taking place in the Steemit platform that are recorded and updated in seconds. Transaction like transfer, comment, delete, vote, claim reward citation reward, power down, transfer to savings, power up are done on the latest transaction.

Block ID, ID, Sender, Receiver and Type are shown in the latest transaction. The latest block shows the files containing information on the steemit. The latest block shows the ID and block transactions.

3) Please explain what all information is shown witness section and steps to vote a witness?
A witness is one that verifies signatures and record the time and date of transaction of a blockchain by adding them in posts, votes, transfers etc thereby updating the state of database. Under the witness we have rank, the witness, status, version, current witness, and the last block height. The rank shows Steemit user has the number of highest vote on the steemit platform, the witness shows the steemit user the highest number of votes from top to bottom, status shows whether is good or bad. The current witness is updated within every seconds.

I clicked on witness at the menu of steemscan tool and a dialogue of witness environment showed

Right down at the witness environment i clicked at vote!

When i clicked on vote! a pop up appeared where i clicked on continue to confirm the transaction

4) Please explain what is DAPPS and mention 3 DAPPS which you have already used or may in future as per your interest?

DAPPS stands for Decentralized Applications. DApps are digital application that runs on a blockchain. In DApps there is no central authority and the performance of DApps are provided exclusively by community users that is their performance depends on users devices. DApps are open source software meaning that everyone can see the DApps code and contribute to it. Examples of DApps are: Bitcoin DApps, Ethereum DApps, Tron DApps, Steem DApps. DApps are classified based on the type of blockchain used and also based on their purposes.
Features of DApps are:
a) it uses their digital currency(token)
b) they are usually open source
Three DApps I may use are: steemit, steemcoinpan, steemworld.

5) Please the How to use "Quick Convert " and what is the fee charge for different steem amount for withdrawal?
Quick Convert is used to convert steem into USDT, BTC and TRX. It can also be used to convert token to and from USDT, BTC and TRX.
The steemit user will enter the withdrawal address at the withdrawal text box, then how much steem the steemit user want to convert and select the desired currency and click on order button to convert steem. It has a fee charge of 1.09820031 USDT

6) Please explain the information that is provided by the "Search Feature"
The search feature helps a steemit user to know an account information of a particular username, the transaction that was performed, the date of the transaction, the type of transaction etc.
