Assalamualaikum

I wish you the best of luck in your pursuits. Now @boss75 has verified my Achievement2, which makes me very thrilled. I sincerely appreciate that, @cryptokannon.

  • Plagiarism is the theme of ACHIEVEMENT3. This is crucial for us to realise.*

Plagiarism

Plagiarism develops when everyone claims credit for someone else's effort. Plagiarism can take the form of data, photographs, movies, or a variety of other things, and there should be no attempt to credit the original creators. The goal of plagiarism is to make it look like the plagiarist wrote the work themselves.

Types of Plagiarism:

  • Self-plagiarism
  • Direct Plagiarism
  • Mosaic Plagiarism
  • Accidental plagiarism

Self-Plagiarism:

Self-plagiarism occurs when a student reuses his or her own work without the consent of the professor. where you can upload all or parts of your past work Plagiarism is plagiarism, no matter how you look at it, and it's as damaging.

Direct Plagiarism:

The act of plagiarising someone else's work without making any changes or additions. It's also prohibited because it's the same as stealing.

Mosaic Plagiarism:

It's a sort of plagiarism in the Mosaic style. Mosaic plagiarism occurs when a student borrows terminology from a source without quoting it or finds synonyms for the author's language while maintaining the original's general structure and content.

Accidental Plagiarism:

It occurs when you make the error of failing to cite your source, as the word implies. Despite the fact that it is unintended, it is also prohibited.

How to avoid plagiarism?

Reference

Avoiding plagiarism is an excellent place to begin.

  • You should be able to write everything in your own words and draw your own drawings if you have a good vocabulary.
  • Always develop original material; this will make these safeguards more effective and protect them from copyright litigation.

What Is a Source Citation .

Simply stating, "The text source is Wikipedia," is insufficient. A link to the precise Wikipedia page from which the item was derived is necessary. If you used a number of sources, it's a good idea to put the source after each thought.

How Do I Cite It?

Every sentence that is copied and pasted should be enclosed in quotation marks “” or organised using the > syntax. Each paraphrased paragraph, sentence, or idea should be accompanied by a citation as near to the original source as possible.

A citation example

"Researchers have long known of the potential for apple eating to maintain balanced populations of bacteria in our lower digestive system," according to an author.

"I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them"
