Plagiarism

Well according to Wikipedia plagiarism is defined as follows:

Plagiarism is the representation of another author's language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions as one's own original work. In educational contexts, there are differing definitions of plagiarism depending on the institution. Plagiarism is considered a violation of academic integrity and a breach of journalistic ethics. It is subject to sanctions such as penalties, suspension, expulsion from school or work, substantial fines and even imprisonment. source

Plagiarism is a very frowned upon action by everyone in general, if we approach from the legal point of view, plagiarism is considered a crime. Within Steemit it is a very delicate fault that can lead to an expulsion from any community.

There are ways to avoid plagiarism, below they were named:

• Creativity: when we let ourselves be carried away by our imagination and by our own ideas, we design unique models impossible to assimilate to others, so we avoid plagiarism very easily.

• Learning: it is not wrong to analyze different ideas before writing a writing but our primary objective should be to acquire the necessary knowledge transmitted in the text and avoiding copying completely or substantially the main ideas of the text.

• Quotations: using quotations (as I did at the beginning of the text) we can express the true author of the text or writing that we are going to develop. The same happens with the images quoting their author, we will be free of plagiarism.

These have been the fundamental elements to avoid violating the copyright of any writing or image that we want to analyze and study for our publications. Doing everything meticulously with original ideas will achieve the honor we want in any field, inside or outside the platform.
