WHAT IS PLAGIARISM

Source
Plagiarism is the practice of copying and pasting of someone else’s work, content or ideas or expression to one's own use, with or without their consent (original owner), and also claiming it into your work with the intension of not giving the owner full credit.
Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form, is covered under this definition.
Source
Plagiarism is therefore duplicate of some else's work without mentioning the source.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM
Direct Plagiarism: This is a form of plagiarism that involves copying and pasting someone else's work or project directly without even changing a single word and not making reference to the source.
Self-Plagiarism: Self-Plagiarism relates to copying and pasting or duplicating some part of one's previously completed/submitted project or assignment.
Accidental Plagiarism: It relates to when someone gives wrong source from where the material or a phrase is gotten from. Also when a phrase or an expression is misquoted from the source gotten from it is considered to be an accidental Plagiarism.
Unintentional Plagiarism: This is a form of plagiarism in which the source of the content or phrase is mentioned but it is not put under quotation marks correctly or properly quoted.

HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISM
• The most important way to avoid plagiarism is to always give full credit or acknowledgment to a reference source (s).
• Try and understand a content and then put it down in your own words.
• Always use quotation marks while referencing to another source.
• By developing good academics skill.

CONCLUSION
plagiarism is a dubious act by an individual with the aim of completing an assignment or a project from another source without giving full credit to the original owner. It's also lack of "proof of brain" ability, not able to express an idea in your own words. Plagiarism should be avoided at all cost.
