Hello every one welcome to this post which is my achievement 3 post and it is all about content etiquette so due to i don't wan to waste your time i will go straight to the point.
This is the wrong act of using another persons idea, painting or inventions and claim it's your own without giving credit to the original owner.

1). Mosaic Plagiarism
This is the act of coping information from different sources without citing where the information was gotten from.
2). Verbatim Plagiarism
This is the act of coping a passage or text from someone without citing where it was gotten.
3). Self Plagiarism
This is the case when you copy from your own previous seen work which is moderate not considerate.
4). Paraphrasing plagiarism
This is the act of rephrasing the idea of another writer without citing the source, this plagiarism is a big offence and should be avoided.
5). Global Plagiarism
This is process of stealing an entire work of another person and claim the work as theirs.
I). It can get you suspended
II). It portray you as a failure
III). It will damage your reputation
IV). It leads to downvotes
Follow these four steps to ensure your paper is free from plagiarism:
1.Keep track of the sources you consult in your research.
2.Paraphrase or quote from your sources (and add your own ideas).
3.Credit the original author in an in-text citation and reference list.
4.Use a plagiarism checker before you submit.

Citation This is the act of labelling ideas that are not originally yours so that anyone will know that is is from someone else.
