Help New Steemians
It is very easy to join Steemit, but to be successful is another story. Relying on reading itself could not be enough. New Comer's need helping hands and guidance.
Embrace Competition
Without competition, I think you can't define the true meaning of success. Be a good sport accept defeat. Your post have not won today. Maybe someday you'll have the prize. Be patient.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the act of unauthorized control over the work of others, take another persons property, language, thoughts, ideas or expression and represent it as their own and publicized it. But sometimes it happen accidentally through forgetfulness or negligence.
How to avoid Plagiarism
- You can avoid plagiarism by making record on your sources. Keep track on every source you got.
- Quote and Paraphrase. Quote means copying it word for word while paraphrasing means using your own words and discuss something from a source.
- Cite the source.
- Use a plagiarism checker.
If you caught plagiarized it could ruin your reputation and face legal consequences.Source
