A Breakdown of Steemscan.com
When you browse to Steemscan.com you will land on the Home page and see a horizontal menu that you can browse from left to right. See image below:
Initially you are going to see a graphical picture of the latest Steem price on the left and corresponding volume to the right, as seen below.
Continuing to browse down the page you will see a list of latest transactions on the Steem blockchain, similar to how transactions are listed on etherscan for ETH.
Witnesses
Here you will see a list of Active witnesses that you can be sorted by each individual column header, with the option to vote for that witness to the far right.
Dapps
Next option on the menu bar is Dapps. This area lists all the applicable apps built on the Steem blockchain which can be sorted by most popular. Each Dapp is listed by their name, a brief description, their website and some "coming soon" features.
Dev Tools
This area lists various developer tools that can be used to build things on top of the Steem blockchain and their corresponding status.
Quick Convert
This option is probably the most useful and new users wouldn't know about this area if not for the Newcomers' Community. This is how you can offboard your Steem based crypto without any KYC. As you can see from the screenshot below, just input the amount you wish to convert, choose from USDT, BTC or TRX, input the applicable address and select "Create Order".
There is a fee associated with the transaction order and at the suggestion of @steemcurator03 I tried three different amounts to get an idea of how the fee structure works. Here is the breakdown of the three orders:
100 Steem would recieve $15.55 in USDT with a fee of $1.18
steemscan.com
500 Steem would receive $85.75 in USDT with a fee of $1.90
steemscan.com
1000 Steem would receive $173.50 in USDT with a fee of $2.79
steemscan.com
So in summary, the larger the order, the better fee percentage rate you recieve on the total order.
Finally there is a Search function where you can search for transactions, blocks or specific account and a quick launch to SteemEngine where token and smart contracts can be built on the Steem blockchain

It would be great if you add conversion fee related details as well in this post.
Please try to check with different Steem amount and mention how much conversion fee is charged? Is it fixed or variable?
