The STEEM price is currently at 0.31 US dollars, however it can be shown in other currency such as BTC, LTC, AUD, GBP, etc.

We can see the volume based on the total number of STEEM or SBD being in circulation.

It shows the total number of STEEM or SBD that users have or is in the market. We can also see the volume in terms of transactions that have been done so far.

This is also shown in the block height, which shows the total number of transactions that have taken place.

In the image above we can see the transaction section. This shows the transactions that has taken place. It consists of block ID, ID, sender, receiver/permlink/Id, type, amount/%/payload.

The record of the transaction is in ascending order where the lastest transaction to occur is at the top and previous transactions are below it.

The image above is the block section. It shows the blocks where transactions are being located and stored in.

It is shown by the block ID and it is arrange in and ascending order where the lastest blocks are shown at the top and previous blocks below the latest blocks.

In the STEEM witness section we have the latest block height which shows the total amount of block that has been recorded in STEEM block chain.

We also have the current witness which shows the user who is currently a steem witness. The current user is symbionts.

Then if you scroll down a little bit more you will find another secment call Active. In the active we have Rank, Witness, Status, Version, Missed, Price fee, and Reg fee. All these gives information concerning the witnesses.

Steps to Vote a Witness

To vote for steem witness using steemscan.com first click on the menu section at the top left corner. Then you click on witness option after.

A page with details about witness will show. Click on vote, next to any witness of your choice.

Then a page showing we're you would have to continue the process will display, click on continue.

Then a page where you will input your username and Active key will display. Put your username and Active key.

Another page would show asking that you confirm your choice, click on approve.

Finally renew page with your voting transaction would show.

DAPPS stands for decentralized application this are applications that run on decentralized network that is the run on block chain or peer - 2- peer networt.

They are different from traditional application that runs on centralized network e.g are Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Quick convert is a feature on the steem scan dapp that is used to convert STEEM to other crypto currencies such as USDT,TRX,BTC,etc.

On the quick convert section you will input the amount on steem you want to convert. Then you choose the crypto currency you want to convert to, then you input the address you want to send to.

The address is dependent on the crypto currency you are converting to. Then click on create order.

The fee charged depends on the Crypto currency that it is being converted to. For instance when you convert STEEM to USDT the fee charged is 1.06 USDT. And if you convert to BTC the fee charged is 0.00064 BTC.
