THEFT OF IDEAS OR PLAGIARISM

The term plunder is defined as "the act of copying other people's work as one's own." Since an unknown work is presented as the original or one of his own, robbery is considered a violation of the author's rights.

HOW TO AVOID PLAGIARISM?

Nowadays students currently commit a lot of plagiarism without them knowing, since the internet is a great source of information for the works of the students, and with just "copy and paste" they already have their works ready; they believe that what is on the internet does not have an author and so they believe that they can use it for whatever they want.

The way to avoid it is:

• Analyze different information.
• Or give credits to the source or author.

WHY SHOULDN'T IT BE PLAGIARIZED?

• In the long run, it will hurt you as a professional.
• We wouldn't like them to take advantage of our work, so we shouldn't do the same.
• You wouldn't have as much creativity.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

• Cloning: Present someone else's ideas as your own, just by copying and pasting.
• Collage: Information copied from different sources or authors that fit very well.
• Find and replace:Change key ideas, words or expretions without changing any of the essential information.

WHY DOES PLAGIARISM OCCUR?

Plagiarism is lately occurring in the student community, since they do not practice the ability to analyze, or because they have problems in writing, and the last 2 years they have not had a good academic training that makes it difficult for them to produce a text, and that is why they resort to plagiarism inconsently, and as they do not place a reference of the source or bibliography the teacher does not know in which source he found the information.
