Achievement 1: Say Welcome to ME: My Introduction Post @iamchukwudi
After several exciting stories about Steemit and some huddles trying to get my account working, I am finally here and ready to be part of the exciting community of Steemians and contribute my own quota to its growth and development. This is however not my first attempt at joining the Steemit community, but this is my most successful attempt.
About MYSELF
My name is Chukwudi Ofurum, I am a health educator, a content writer/developer, as well as a tech enthusiast. My love for modern technology moved me to seek newer ways to savage technology to my benefit and to the benefit of all those in the tech world. This brought me to the Steemit platform.
I am a 26-year-old Nigerian from a family of 6 (me being the 4th), who have been working really hard on several projects, most being a failure and few seeing the light of the day. First, I’ve worked on myself by securing some circular education, skills, and knowledge on various matters and aspects of life. In the course of my life, I’ve delved into numerous activities such as website design, videography, photography, health-related activities, blogging, research, and business development.

InteRESTS
As a result-oriented person, I am usually drawn to challenges and how to proffer solutions to several problems. Steemit seems to be a community that I believe will harness my strengths and build on my weaknesses towards perfection. Off-road, or on the other side of life outside Steemit.com, I am highly enthusiastic about harnessing information and communication technology and its systems to solving problems and creating income.
My zeal and enthusiasm concerning information and communication technology led me to the discovery of Steemit. Thanks to @beautiefair for her continuous guidance as Steemit has proved to be a unique platform, standing out from the rest of the pack in all possible ways.
Why I am DRAWN to Steemit!
The Steemit platform interests me mostly owing to the interesting opportunity it provides for learning and education. Exploring this platform, I’ve come across several communities that are built on different matters. The diversification is amazing! In fact, in Steemit, there’s always something for everyone. Added to this is the reward system, Steemit to the best of my knowledge is the most rewarding social media platform as each user’s meaningful contributions are meaningfully rewarded. What better place to be in!
Additionally, it is a delight to find a platform where racial bias and differences are not a thing to worry about. Steemit is a worldwide platform and as a #Nigerian, it interests me to find my brothers and sisters here in persons such as @ngoenyi, @beautiefair, @armstrongdiho, @focusnow, @bright-obias, @greatness96, and numerous others. I greet my fellow #Nigeria ns.
It already feels very exciting to be here!
My CONTRIBUTIONS
Steemit thrives on quality and value, and I promise to add quality and value as well in my own ways. First, I intend to share well-researched quality content to different communities of interest. My focus will be on health, education, and photography. Thus, communities built on these three pillars should be my home on Steemit. Some communities that caught my attention at first glance include - The Steemit Crypto Academy; Steem Food Community (who doesn’t love food!); World of XPILAR; and Writing and Reviews community.
I’m sure the excitement will live on as I continue my journey here!
CRYPTO Know-how!
To begin with, I understand that the Steemit platform is built on an architecture similar to that most digital currencies operate on – The Blockchain. I understand a fair bit about cryptocurrencies. Still, my heart is wide open to learn about it as much as the learning opportunities here affords me.
