Hope everyone is doing great and are in best of health. Today, I am going to write about my 3rd achievement post which is on Content etiquette and Plagiarism.

As the picture indicates that etiquette's are manners, following code of conduct, norms or being just polite. We all have set of rules in our life from getting up in the morning to sleeping in the night, we all follow some rules and regulations. Hence, same is the case when we join any platform to either do any blogging, content writing or anything of the sort rules to be followed. On this platform of steemit we also need to follow some set rules or etiquette.

Now, moving towards plagiarism.

What is Plagiarism:

As you can see in the picture also it is stealing someone else’s ideas and way of work and making it your own without the consent of that particular person. It can be just as idea, a piece of work or even a picture or any designed object or logo.

Types of Plagiarism:

There are many different types of plagiarism like explained in the picture below:

Hence, this picture say's it all regarding the types of plagiarism. Now coming to ways by which we can avoid plagiarism.

Steps to avoid plagiarism:

1. Take your time

Whenever you sit down to write any content give yourself enough time so that you can come up with your own original idea and content and need to copy someone's else idea get minmize.

2. Review

The material you have written need to be reviewed again and again so that chances of plagiarism can be minimized.

3. Plagriarism checker

There are many online sites by which the plagiarism of the text can be reviewed like the famous grammarly.com.

4. Adding a source

By adding a source the plagiarism gets reduced There are many other ways by which we can avoid plagiarism and make our content original and helpful for others. Like if we like any idea or any picture we should always try to acknowledge the person or add the source just like I have done after adding the pictures. By this not only the reader will be able to benefit by the extra information available on that specific place but the author will also feel encouraged and motivated by the acknowledgment of his/her work.

Process of adding source is very simple which is:

• Add the picture
• Write source between these brackets [ ] like [source]
• Without space write the link of the picture or text picked up in between these brackets ( ) and you will be able to add the source of the picture of text picked up.

So this is the basic manner or etiquette which is being followed on steemit and we should also practice it in our daily lives.

In the last I would like end my task with a remarks,
