This is my Achievement 6 explaining about curation and communities.

HOW DO VOTING AND CURATING WORK ON STEEMIT?

Steemit gives us the best price in form of Steem Dollars (SBD), Steem Power, TRX for every post by voting for the users. The result of votes awarded by the steemian is called `Curation, the Authors get 50% and the Curator also gets 50%, each post will be payed out within 7days, and the of prize obtained, will be based on the value of steem power and voting power also.

CAN WE GET CURATION REWARDS FOR LIKE COMMENTS?

Yeah, we do get curation prize from upvoting and comments, the more sensitive comments on posts, the more reasonable energy created.

DO WE GET CURATION REWARDS FOR POSTS OR COMMENTS WE DON'T LIKE?

Downvoting reduces bounties on posts and comments made, it can not result in curation bounties at all. It might be very nice if some posts are liked, and just a vote. Down voting the posts that are voted earlier. it can lead to damaged of relationship with the steemian.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE UPVOTE A POST BEFORE 5 MINUTES AFTER POSTING?

If a post is upvoted within 1 minute, the curator will receive 20% and 80% wil be in the prize pool.
If a post is upvoted within 2 minute, the curator will receive 40% and 60% wil be in the prize pool.
If a post is upvoted within 3 minute, the curator will receive 60% and 40% wil be in the prize pool.
If a post is upvoted within 4 minute, the curator will receive 80% and 20% wil be in the prize pool.
If a post is upvoted within 5 minute, 100% curation will be rewards to the curator.

WHICH COMMUNITIES DO I JOIN ON STEEMIT, AND WHY?

I joined different communities on steemit that matches me. At firs, I followed newcommers community to get reliable information that are related to how to become a good and great steemian. I move forward to the communities that their own charms, communities like:
