Believe it or not, the world we are in right now may not be able to survive without social media.

Social media is simply internet based applications created for different reasons like easy distribution of news, bringing and connecting people together, a means of livelihood, blogging, social networking, creating online communities; for example: steemit, forums, social gaming, business networks, marketing etc.

Around January 2021, We had approximately 33 million active social media users here in Nigeria, only 27 million of them run their social media accounts actively. It’s a known fact that about 70 million Nigerians have mobile phone connections which is about 83% of the total population. Only 42% of the population has internet access.
