Applying Markdowns

T here are many types of markdowns which you can apply to your post ,which are
•Headlines
Headings are important elements that helps put a blog in a better structure.To apply a heading you have to type # symbol with space in front of the headline text.example

Note:Add more # symbol to reduce the size of the headings ,and it can only be 1-6 of the # symbol ,more than 6 of that symbol will not work.

•Codes
You can make your text bold and italic ,this can be done by coding.example

Bold
You have to add two of symbol or _ symbol which are(* ) or (__),at the beginning of the text you want to make bold and at the end of it too.example,

Note:Don’t leave space in between the codes and the text you want to make bold

Italic
To make a text italic you must add one of * symbol or _ which is (*) (_) ,then add same at the end of the text you want to make Italic.example,

• How to center text
I used the center alignment command to do the 2nd subheading which is applying markdown to be precise.to align your text to the middle put your text in between the center command,.example

•How To Add Superscript
To add subscript to your text put your text in between this command example

• Applying Links
Adding links in your post is very important and and we must do them if they are necessary.it can be done by citation or adding @ to a username which means mentioning someone in steemit example @maltima which is clickable.

The other can be done by posting a copied link after this command [source] then put the link copied into brackets like this().Then it will become clickable and can now lead you to original page the link was copied from.example

• How To Insert Tables
Copy and paste the below and add as many headers and cells you need.

•How To Insert Quotes
To insert quotes ,all you need is to do is to start the quoted sentence with “>”.Example

You can’t look into a bottle with both eyes

•Line Break
Sometimes we will need an extra line break between our text and it can can be done by
command.

•Inserting Videos
You will have to own a YouTube account ,then upload the video you want to post on steemit on youtube ,after that you will have to copy the link of the uploaded video then post it on Steemit

•Inserting Images
On phone just press on the select them option and choose the picture you want to post from your gallery.
