Basic security in Steemit and clarify many doubts.
Have you obtained and saved all your strong passwords?
When I made the creation of my account, the first key was generated that with the help of my husband I obtained it without any problem and I was able to save it.
Do you know all the functions and restrictions of the keys?
At first I thought it was complicated and being new feels like a strange one, but reviewing the information presented on the platform, I could observe that it is easy and I got the necessary knowledge. For which the different keys are used;
OWNER KEY
ACTIVATION KEY
MEMO KEY
POST KEY
OWNER KEY
It is used to reset all other keys (activation, posting, memo) is the most privileged, therefore this key has to be protected in a safe place, to prevent it from being stolen or lost. One of its restrictions is that it does not allow to decrypt the private messages (memos) that they have sent.
ACTIVATION KEY
With this key I can also perform almost all the functions as well as the previous key, but it is not advisable to use this key to access the account, to make publications and to vote, it should only be used to transfer funds, turn on / off, steem power, for purchase or sale orders in the domestic market and to change the user settings only when necessary. I can also change all other keys except the owner key
MEMO KEY
This key is used to encrypt and decrypt memos when transferring funds
POST KEY
With this key daily income, it serves to make my publications, comments, edit, vote, make resteem, it is the most used and most vulnerable key
How do you plan to keep your master key safe?
I already have them sheltered, printed, in my mail and on my laptop.
Do you know how to transfer your steem tokens to another steem user?
Of course, here I explain how I did it, we open the Wallet we enter the requested key we access the steem dollar option, then to a list where we select transfer
the name of the user to be transferred and the amount is placed, a note of said transaction has to be placed, we verify that all the data is correct and the required key or password is entered.
Do you know how to perform the power Up process in steem?
Yes, we use it to increase the steem power, and as we turn on we raise our sp within the platform.
