Hello friends of the community, today I present my third achievement, this is based on the explanation of the content regulations, focusing on what plagiarism is and how it affects the platform and its system, let's get started
Steemit is a platform developed through the Blockchain, it is allowing people to create content and be rewarded for it.
For this reason we talk about creating new and own content, from expressing the creativity, innovation, effort and knowledge of each user from a unique perspective.
In a system where you are rewarded for this there is no room for Plagiarism, since it would be contradicting the essence and objective of the platform, which is to contribute through our posts, which will not happen if we simply repeat the content of other users.
Whats Is Plagiarism?
A simple definition of Plagiarism is:
Definition: In an instructional setting, plagiarism occurs when a writer deliberately uses someone else's language, ideas, or other original (not common-knowledge) material without acknowledging its source. source
Plagiarism is the action of appropriating or using without consent the content of another person, presenting their ideas as their own
In the world in general this is considered a crime, since it is in its essence an act of theft, for which it is punished, in addition to being very frowned upon today.
Nowadays it is essential to make our own and genuine contribution of home person in society, since we live in a world of constant advances, where every day a new problem appears, creative ingenious minds that generate new solutions to these problems, that create new knowledge to continue advancing and thus facilitating many processes of daily life.
In this platform we are rewarded for creating content it is not admitted to commit Plagiarism, because as well as in society in general as part of this community we must contribute and not only copy, we will be rewarded for our creativity and contribution to the growth of the platform, our innovation in knowledge and creativity in the elaboration of our content.
As a student of Computer Science something I learned is that there will never be two lines of code the same, so they fulfill the same function each person has a different and unique way of palpating and developing a code, by this same idea the creation of any content is governed, be it a period or a comma, nobody does the same work.
The plagiarism for this becomes very evident, that is why it is not advisable to commit it and by making them detonated a series of obstacles for the growth of the platform, the own development of creativity and the expression of the person from whom the content is stolen.
Recommendations
To avoid falling into the crime of plagiarism, it is recommended to perform the following actions:
Name sources and links whenever content that is not your own is used.
Use as much as possible own content, popular knowledge or free use.
Identify with edits or demarcations as quotation marks, the content that is cited.
Make content from scratch to warn you to use the content of others.
