ALL ABOUT CONTENT ETIQUETTES

Plagiarism

It is: "Taking someone else's work and concepts and Using them as one's own" In other words, plagiarism is an act of fraud. It involves both stealing someone else's artwork and lying approximately it during a while.

Types of plagiarism

Plagiarism has many forms. It can be an entire document or one paragraph. within the end, all kinds of plagiarism are passing off someone else's ideas or words as your own.
Common sorts of plagiarism

Copy-and-paste plagiarism

Also referred to as direct plagiarism, which suggests it uses a paragraph from another source without mentioning it.
If you like to require a passage from another source word for word, you should have the skills to write it down.

Mosaic plagiarism

Copy-pasting different pieces of text together to make a sort of "mosaic" or "patchwork" of other researchers' ideas is Mosaic plagiarism.
Although the result's a completely new piece of text, its words and concepts aren't new or unique.

Self-plagiarism

When you use parts of your own previous work (e.g. a paper, a literature review or a dataset) without adequately citing it, that's referred to as self-plagiarism.
Although it sounds a bit Fanatical to be penalised for your own work but, you ought to know that it is against the expectations of the readers of your articles. They expect the work to be original and new.

Global plagiarism

When you use someone else's paper, you commit plagiarism because you pretend that the words and concepts are yours.
Using someone else's work includes having a lover or family to write the text for you or buy content from other third party content developers.

These are some steps you'll perform to avoid plagiarism:

-mention the sources from where you've read and taken the content.
-Paraphrase or quote from your sources (and add your own ideas).
-Credit the first author in an in-text citation and reference list.
-Use a plagiarism checker before submission.

EXAMPLE :

KONOSUBA: GOD'S BLESSING ON THIS WONDERFUL WORLD

konosuba 2.jpgsource

After dying a laughable and pathetic death on his way back from buying a game, high school student and recluse Kazuma Satou finds himself sitting before a beautiful but obnoxious goddess named Aqua. She provides the NEET with two options: continue to heaven or reincarnate in every gamer's dream—a real fantasy world!

Choosing to start a new life, Kazuma is quickly tasked with defeating a Demon King who is terrorizing villages. But before he goes, he can choose one item of any kind to aid him in his quest, and the future hero selects Aqua. But Kazuma has made a grave mistake—Aqua is completely useless!

Unfortunately, their troubles don't end here; it turns out that living in such a world is far different from how it plays out in a game. Instead of going on a thrilling adventure, the duo must first work to pay for their living expenses. Indeed, their misfortunes have only.

As you can see in the above example, I've marked every image and content with its source from where I've taken it from.

I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them.
