Thankyou Steemit for teaching me a way to express and providing a platform. So getting my Achievement 2 status I'm now up to get next badge and this post is totally related to the same topic. 🧠

What is plagiarism

Plagiarism is the representation of another author's language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions as one's own original work. In educational contexts, there are differing definitions of plagiarism depending on the institution.Source

Plagiarism is an act of stealing someone else's intellectual work, idea or material solely produced by that person; this might be intentionally or un-intentionally. When done intentionally, the cheater tries to dodge everyone by making it look like that work is produced by him. And when unintentionally the person copies the material and forgets to cite it.

There are many ways that a cheater react when caught red-handed for cheating they include but are not limited to:

  1. That person blames the writer, as if writer cheated their idea 🙄
  2. They act like they don't know how it happens 👻
  3. They change sequence of words to fool the other person 🛡️ but idea remains the same
  4. They start blaming the system where they've been caught

There are tons and tons of software and websites used to detect plagiarism in any content, let it be Turnitin, grammerly or so for Academic contents. These softwares Crawl multiple web sources and finds all the information that is copied, to be more precise these softwares mention source of the material where the same material was posted earlier. This show the credibility of that source. There are penalties defined for these kinds of acts to avoid it which include an amount of fine to restigate the person when done multiple times even after warning.

Here on the Steemit there is a whole community named @endingplagiarism that is meant to work on removing plagiarized content from this platform and trying its best to help people Earn by their brains (Proof of Brain) and using writing as a weapon.

Hello @anmolwajid, you have got a bit less than 200 words of own content in your post. We need you to extend a bit more about plagiarism in order to be verified. Use your own words and your own analysis to extend. Thank you. Tuesday, May 25th, 2021.
