What is Applying Markdown?

This a way of formatting your text. Though, It not just limited to text alone it has to do with some tools that helps us to format and make our post more presentsble.

1. Headline and sub-headline:

This is important because it has to do with the summary title of your post and also, it guides the eyes of the reader.
There are possibly two(2) different ways to apply headline

• You add at the beginning of the row a # symbol. As the number of the hashtag symbol # increases, the headline size decreases.

As the name implies link has to do with something connected to the original. Adding links in our posts is very useful because we often make use of it.
e.g
Using the steemit username as an example, when we add @ at the beginning of a username, it become clickable directing you to the user's profile. I.e @cryptokannon

Sometimes adding a code in a post is necessary.

you can use before and after the command at the end of the word/sentence

In Conclusion

I will advice all steemians to always use the markdown tools to make their post look more presentable, because a post can only attarct upvotes when its presentable.
