Q1. Have you retrieve all of your keys on steemit?
Ans: Yes, I have downloaded the pdf that contain all my keys from steemit and I have also store them offline.
Q2. Do you know each of the key’s functions and restrictions?
Ans: Yes, there are basically five different types of keys:
- Posting key: This key is used to post, vote, resteem, edit, Comment, and most importantly to login in your steemit account.
2.Active key: This key is used for transferring funds, power up and down, transactions, converting steem dollars etc. - Owner key: This is the most important key, this key is used to change any key including the owner key. It is highly recommended to store this key somewhere offline and secure.
- Master key: Master key is used to generate other Keys. The only use of master key is when you need to recover your account. It is also highly recommended to store this key somewhere offline and secure.
- Memo key: Memo key is used to encrypt and decrypt memos during transferring the funds.
Q3. How you plan to keep your master password secure?
Ans: I have kept my master password safe on my external hard drive and I have also printed it on a paper and kept it safe somewhere.
Q4: Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem token user?
Ans: Yes, I know how to transfer my steem token to another steem token user.
Step1: login in your account on pc/laptop.
Step2: Open your wallet.
Step3: Click on your steem, you will see a dropdown menu and then click on transfer.
Step4: Then a new layout will open where you have to fill the user’s name and the amount you want to transfer.
Step5: Then click next.
Q5: Do you know how to power up your steem?
Ans: Yes, I know how to power up my steem
Step1: First you need to open your wallet.
Step2: Click on your steem, you will see a dropdown menu and then click on power up.
Step3: It will open a new layout where you need to fill the amount you want to power up.
Step4: Then Click on power up.
