To support my content on plagiarism, i am making use of above image where i cite the source of image.if i had not mentioned the source, it would have mounted to plagiarism.

Plagiarism means using someone's work for personal benefit by someone else without attributing or giving credit to that person. There is no harm in using someone else’s content as long as credit of that content is given to the author.if you used it without crediting author, you mount to plagiarism and it is punishable office in my country.

Definition by fishman about plagiarism.

** Plagiarism occurs when someone:
Uses words, ideas, or work products attributable to another identifiable person or source without attributing the work to the source from which it was obtained in a situation in which there is a legitimate expectation of original authorship In order to obtain some benefit, credit, or gain which need not be monetary.**
source

I have copied above definition from Wikipedia and mentioned it’s source and also blockquoted it as i have directly copy paste it.If I would have not mention it’s source it would have mounted to plagiarism..

Avoiding plagiarism
There are three simple rules you can follow to avoid plagiarism:
When you want to include an exact phrase, sentence or passage from a source, use a quotation.
When you want to express an idea or information from a source, paraphrase or summarize it entirely in your own words.
Always cite the source when you quote, paraphrase, or summarize.
Source

Above definition is also copy pasted definition but i have mentioned it’s source. So it will be not considered as plagiarism but if i would have used it without citing source,it would have mounted to plagiarism.

There is no harm in taking support from the tons of material available on internet but under under some rules, citing source is one among the rule. That means, if we use content created by someone to somehow support us, as a matter of common courtesy and ethics, giving reference to that source becomes our responsibility. So if you want to avoid plagiarism, then don’t forget to cite the source of content from where it has been taken.
