CONTEST: GRAFFITI OF MY CITY | BATTLE OF MACTAN!

Warmest greetings to #Steem-BRU community. How are you all? Hope everyone is good.

I'm so grateful to sir @slon21veka for continuing his contest that I may have a chance to submit my entry.

This graffiti image represents the battle of Mactan between Lapu-lapu and Magellan. Lapu-lapu was a Filipino while Magellan was a Spaniards. This was happened last April 27, 1521 when Magellan landed in Mactan from their long voyage to find the spice island. Lapu-lapu was a leader of the tribe in this town and he won the battle and killed Magellan. This was one of the known history of the Philippines that marked to every Filipinos.

Now the place called Lapu-lapu City. Every April 27th day of the year this city celebrating the battle through reenactment of what had happened.

This graffiti located in one of the pillars of the bridge which connects from Mandaue City to Lapu-lapu City. I really admire to graffiti artwork. It beautifies the place and make us remember the history that revealed the image.
