This time I found an interesting theme in the weekly challenge. The theme is “Share any two of your favorite gadgets (except mobile and computer)..”, this is very cool and not to be missed. Here are my answers to the questions given.

What are the names of your two favorite gadgets? And how to use it?

Right now, I only use two gadgets that are very dear to me, because they accompany me in my daily activities. The two gadgets that I mean are a cellphone branded Redmi Note 9 Pro and the other is the Lenovo b40 Laptop.

However, in this challenge, cell phones and laptops were excluded, so I chose other gadgets that I often use. These gadgets are a mouse with the name MR08 Mouse AI and Orbit Modem.

These two gadgets have different ways of using, for MR08 Mouse AI is used for laptops like a mouse generally to make it easier to move the cursor and speed up other work on the laptop. But there is something more sophisticated than this one mouse, he has an AI mic inside that can type by saying sentences according to the language we set, and can also translate directly from what we say into the official language we set. And there are several others that can be set with this smart mouse.

The main purpose of using a modem is to connect laptops and cell phones to the internet. Because there is no wifi in my place, I utilize Orbit My Telkomsel to use which functions the same as wifi but must use a sim card that must be filled with internet packages.

Explain how your life has become easier by using these two gadgets.

With these two gadgets being my favorites, it certainly makes it easier for me to get my daily work done. MR08 Mouse AI will make it easier for me to type to create posts and write letters. Moreover, the mouse supports automatic translation, so I no longer need to open translation websites such as Google and others. In addition, this mouse also speeds up browsing on the internet simply by saying what we want to search. It's very useful and speeds up my work.

As for the orbit modem, of course it is also very useful. I can directly access the internet at home like normal wifi and can connect more than one device even up to 8 devices. So I can use browsing with my laptop and cellphone at the same time with this one modem. I also save on internet costs by simply filling in a monthly package of around Rp81000 = 35 GB. Sometimes I charge it 2 times per month. Therefore, for the sim card in my cellphone, I only charge a small internet package because I only use it when traveling.

Here I'll show you the 2 gadgets I'm referring to above. The first one is the MR08 AI Mouse.

I bought this mouse 2 weeks ago through Shopee e-commerce and have only been using it for a week. I first got information about this mouse through an advertisement on social media, so I thought of ordering it. Then after checking the price which is not too expensive, I immediately ordered it for Rp 156000.

As for my Telkomsel orbit modem, I have been using it for quite a long time, which is 3 years ago. At that time in the COVID-19 situation, so all college activities were carried out at home. Because I don't have wifi, I chose to order this type of modem. At first I wanted to order through the MyTelkomsel application, but after seeing a voucher from Shopee, I chose to order there instead. The price at that time reached Rp 847000. So per month I only fill up the 35 Gb quota at a price of Rp 81000, but if I use it often then I have to fill up the modem quota twice.

I don't advise everyone to use the gadgets I have now, but I only advise them according to their needs. But if you want to try advanced tools like this mouse, it's fine. But from every gadget it is not all according to our wishes, sometimes the mouse function does not work as a whole. The slightest mispronunciation, the mouse will be wrong when typing.

It's a bit complicated when we first turn on the laptop, sometimes we have to repeatedly set the language used and so on. As for the modem gadget, it also depends on friends, I bought it because there was no wifi coverage in my area, but my advice is that if there is wifi coverage, please install wifi only which is much more efficient.
