The Diary Game|| Date:19-05-2024|| A Memorable Day of Community and Celebration.

Assalamualaikum everyone, my dear Steemians. I hope you all are doing fine. I’m also doing great, Alhamdulillah. The morning started with great excitement. I woke up early and started preparing for the whole day. Today was a big day for my community where I work. Actually, I am involved in volunteer work which serves my community members and children. Today, there was a special visit from our honorable president of the Women Welfare Trust.

From the morning, I was in a hurry to finish my housework. Since I had already prepared food for the day yesterday, in the morning after waking up, I freshened up my daughter, arranged her food and clothes for the whole day, and got ready for the event. This event was basically a short visit from our president. She participated in some official tasks and then, with our whole committee, there was a reunion. The morning session was the official visit, so I had to wear a saree. After getting ready, I went out for the day.

The first part was the official visit. After receiving her with a warm welcome, we visited some of our sister concerns, such as boutiques , parlor and a nursery school. By the time we finished our official visit , it was already lunchtime. There was a lunch arrangement for all of us. Alhamdulillah, after a rush-filled late morning, we all sat together for lunch. Though I was enjoying myself, I was a little concerned for my daughter as she was at home having lunch without me. Then I consoled myself with the realization that every day is not the same; some days need little changes and must be accepted.

Since it was a special day, the lunch arrangement was also special. After lunch, there was a short break. During this short break, we had to change and get ready for the next part of the event. In a rush, I went home and changed my clothes for the evening outing. It was so somuch fun for all of us. We, the committee members along with our president, went to visit the "Bangabandhu Tunnel." We all sat on a bus, enjoying nature and giggling as we moved toward the tunnel. It was my first visit to the tunnel, so the experience was good and exciting. After visiting the tunnel, we all went to “Patenga Sea Beach.” It was around sunset, so the beauty and the company were so enjoyable and unforgettable. There, we all together ate the famous “Patenga peyaju” and drank “Chaa.”

After that, we went to our community welfare office, where there was a small arrangement for refreshments and discussions about the betterment of the community. We shared our thoughts and ideas to bring about something new, but the environment was also fun-loving. As I mentioned, it was most likely a reunion of our committee members in view of our president's short visit. We thoroughly discussed, gossiped, and spent the whole evening together.

After that, there was the final part of the day: the grand dinner. After the discussion session, we again went home, changed, and went out for our official dinner. Some special guests were invited from different sectors, and we all met at the dinner venue, did some social interactions, took some pictures, and finally had our grand dinner of the day. The menu was huge and divided into three parts - starter, main course, and dessert. We all sat at a table, and the food was served one by one. I will not praise the taste of the food but rather mention the environment and the company I experienced throughout the day. After finishing the food, we again did some social interactions and finally said goodbye to our president, who came from Dhaka for the day. We thanked her for giving us, the ladies in this community committee, such a wonderful day.

As mothers, we always have caregiving responsibilities, and I respect that, but it is not bad for a mother to spend some days with a little bit of change. Today, I really enjoyed the day with my community ladies.
