With breakfast and morning tea completing the initial rituals, my husband and I set out for the local bazaar, a bustling hub of activity, to fulfill our weekly grocery and household needs. Despite my personal reservations, I acquiesced to the purchase of dry fish, known locally as "Shutki," honoring a special request from my mother-in-law. Laden with bags, we returned home, ready to transition from the morning hustle to a day brimming with familial warmth.

The weekend vibe infused a playful energy as my daughter yearned for some quality time at our yard playground. Eager to keep her spirits high, my husband took charge of ensuring her laughter echoed through the air while I busied myself arranging the groceries. Simultaneously, my mother-in-law orchestrated the kitchen to prepare a lunch that would become the focal point of our day – a delectable" Chicken Aloo Jhol", a culinary masterpiece from her skilled hands.

Post a delightful lunch, we collectively decided to extend the joy beyond the confines of our home. The destination of choice was the Naval Academy in Patenga, specifically the enchanting West Point Beach. The proximity to the sea, the lush green surroundings, and the promise of tranquility made it a preferred spot. As the sun began its descent, we arrived at the beach, greeted by the rhythmic waves and the awe-inspiring vastness of the mighty "Bonggoposhagor".

The scenery was nothing short of magical, a sentiment echoed by my in-laws who were visiting Chittagong for the first time. The beauty left my mother-in-law momentarily speechless, and we seized the opportunity to capture the fleeting moments in numerous photographs. As my husband and I strolled along the beach with our daughter, reveling in the serenity and sea breeze, it became evident that this place, despite multiple visits, never failed to enchant.

The day unfolded further as we decided to extend our beach sojourn by ordering some local snacks – the renowned "Potenga Piaju" and "Beguni." With the snacks laid out before us, our family gathered by the seaside, enjoying the beach moment and indulging in spirited conversations. The backdrop of the vast sea added a unique charm to our familial bonding.

As we sat, enjoying the snacks and witnessing the sun bidding adieu, it marked the culmination of a day painted with hues of love and togetherness. The vast expanse of the sea stood witness to the joy that family brings, serving as the canvas for our shared happiness.
