The day started at my mother's home after some couple of days .And as usual my first task was to rouse my daughter, setting the tone for the day ahead. The morning routine completed, I found myself in my mother's kitchen, where a delightful surprise awaited – she was crafting "Chitoi Pitha," a traditional Bengali rice cake. The sight filled my heart with happiness, a feeling that lingered throughout the day. Gratitude echoed within me as I whispered, "Alhamdulillah."

The Chitoi Pitha, paired with a savory beef jhol, became the centerpiece of our breakfast feast.The morning continued with a leisurely tea time, creating a space for cherished conversations and moments of togetherness.

The day unfolded further with a special lunch, graced by the presence of cousins. The array of delicious dishes , masterfully prepared by my mother, filled the air with enticing aromas. Post-lunch, the younger cousins engaged in a spirited game of Luddo. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as two teams, though only four players strong, drew in the entire household into the friendly competition.

In the midst of the Luddo fervor, an idea sprouted between me and my cousin Trina – a spontaneous rickshaw ride to savor our favorite street food, "Chotpoti" and "Fuchka." Eager to indulge our taste buds , we ventured out into the winter evening, the chill in the air adding to the thrill of the adventure. The explosion of flavors from the "Fuchka" and "Chotpoti" left us craving for more.

The day's escapade continued with a quest for the perfect cup of "Malai tea." Another tea stall beckoned, and we succumbed to the allure of warm, creamy tea that perfectly complemented the winter evening. The rickshaw ride , the laughter , and the heartwarming gossips with my best cousin turned this ordinary evening into an extraordinary memory.

As the day drew to a close , I just reflected on the abundance of blessings . A day that began with the warmth of a mother's love evolved into a tapestry woven with the threads of familial bonds , delectable food, friendly competition, and spontaneous adventures.

In the symphony of moments that composed this winter day , I found solace and joy. Alhamdulillah , for the love, the laughter, and the simple pleasures that make life's tapestry rich and vibrant.
