Dear dairy ,
Hello everyone! I hope all are you doing well and in good spirits. Today was an extraordinary day for me as a woman, marked by the grand celebration of International Women's Day within my community. Recently, I became a member of a welfare community dedicated to women's development, a position I acquired under my husband's official authority. This affiliation granted me the unique opportunity to organize a special program for all the women in my community, making today a truly remarkable day.
The day kicked off with the usual hustle and bustle of household activities. However , before diving into the responsibilities that awaited me , I made a conscious effort to carve out some time for myself. Standing by the window , I absorbed the tranquility and beauty of the greenery outside. A simple breakfast of tea and toast biscuits fueled my morning, though it wasn't without a bit of concern as my daughter had been unwell since the previous night, vomiting intermittently.
In a bid to soothe her discomfort, I prepared a comforting dish known as "Jaw vaat" or "mussy rice." Thankfully, by morning, she showed signs of improvement, and after a refreshing bath, she was back to her playful self. With Friday being a day when my husband was at home, I had to ensure that everything ran smoothly and efficiently, given the tight schedule I had to adhere to for the grand celebration.
In the kitchen, I swiftly prepared a lunch featuring my husband's favorite Rupchanda fish and chicken jhol. With the help of my supporting hand, lunch was served, and soon after, I headed off to get ready for the day's main event. The pressure was on to ensure everything was in order, especially since my husband was at home.
The program was scheduled to begin at 4:00 P.M. , and as part of the community's organizing committee , I arrived early to welcome our special guests , who would share their experiences and insights in honor of International Women's Day. The program commenced with the engaging talks of our esteemed guests , focusing on women's empowerment, offering valuable guidance on what women can do , what to expect , and how to foster personal growth.
Following the successful program , a small snacks party was arranged with the guests. Amidst the festivities , we , all the members of the community , captured the essence of the day by taking photographs, cherishing the collective spirit of empowerment. After a busy, tense, yet incredibly successful day, the community members gathered for a well-deserved coffee break. It served as a small celebration for the triumph of our event and allowed us to share some quality women's time together.
In conclusion , the day unfolded as a testament to the strength and unity of women in our community. Through hard work , determination , and collaboration , we orchestrated a grand celebration for International Women's Day, making it a memorable and empowering experience for all. As a woman, wife, and community member, I am grateful for the support, camaraderie, and success that defined this special day in the name of women everywhere.
