I hope all are you doing well and having a wonderful time. The monsoon season is upon us, bringing with it beautiful weather marked by the sun and clouds playing hide and seek, accompanied by the continuous, soothing rain. Today, I want to share a wonderful rainy Friday spent enjoying traditional food and visiting the Artillery Museum with my community ladies.
The day started with the soothing sound of rain. As I watched the rain from my window , I couldn't resist the urge to have a cup of milk tea. The rainy day and a hot cup of tea is simply made for each other. After savoring my tea, and observing the beauty through my window , I decided to prepare a special lunch for this rainy weekend. After breakfast and feeding my baby, I headed to the kitchen to start cooking "khichuri" and "beef bhuna"—a must-have for a rainy Friday.
I cooked throughout the morning, preparing the khichuri and beef for my family. Once the cooking was done, I completed my regular activities and prayers before sitting down for lunch. Despite being in a hurry, I didn't want to miss out on Friday lunch with my family. My husband and I enjoyed the meal together, and he was delighted to have khichuri, as he had been craving it in this weather.
After lunch, I got ready for the pre-planned event with my community ladies. We had decided to visit the Artillery Museum in Halishohor, Chattogram. As I waited for the vehicle, I noticed it was still raining and briefly doubted whether going out was a good idea. Nevertheless, we set off for the museum, enjoying the drive along the marine drive with the rain adding to the fun.
Upon arrival, the rain had slowed down. The museum authorities welcomed us warmly and arranged a special documentary viewing about the museum's history. We then explored the museum, where a lifelike figure of "Bongobondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman" caught our attention. It was so realistic that anyone seeing it for the first time might think it was the real Bongobondhu. One of the museum authorities explained that this figure was the first of its kind made in Bangladesh, similar to those in Madame Tussauds.
We took pictures with this incredible figure and then explored other historical artillery equipment and machines used by the army during wars and missions. We also saw historical belongings of army generals and learned about their successful missions. After spending about thirty to forty minutes at the museum, we enjoyed a small afternoon refreshment arranged by the authorities.
Next, we visited the beautiful "Gunners Area" within the army cantonment. Although it was evening and we couldn't see its full beauty in daylight, the place looked stunning in the dark, especially in the rainy weather. We spent half an hour there, gossiping and taking pictures with my lovely community ladies.
As the day came to an end , we got back into our vehicle and headed home. The journey was filled with singing, reciting poems, and sharing jokes, making the ride back home delightful. We reached home around 8:45 PM, carrying with us the beautiful memories of our ladies' day out.
This rainy day was truly special, filled with delicious food, family time, and an enjoyable outing with my community ladies.

Hi, Greetings, Good to see you Here:)
First of all, the rain is accompanied by khichuri, again beef is a wonderful food, it is very nice to eat khichuri on a rainy day. And seeing Bangabandhu, he seems to be alive, no one would think that it is made.
