Today I have the opportunity to write my entry to this very interesting contest, the theme of this week's engagement contest is about the importance of working in a team which is highlighted by this phrase.

The phrase team work makes the dream work refers to the importance of teamwork in achieving one’s goal in life. It highlights the importance of teamwork in getting any task done. It is very important to keep things organised and do the difficult tasks in a team.

This phrase also tells us that it is very important to know the importance of being in a team then working on a thing individually.

We can be very well skilled and have all the expertise and information but still we can not fulfil a task alone.

Maybe it will be difficult to achieve that because of lack of time or maybe lack of experience but while working in a team you overcome all those things and maybe another team member may fulfil that pace in your work making it more concise.

Yes, recently I had a teamwork experience at my university. It was a business assignment and we had to make a team, bring any business idea forward with our team and present it to everyone on the business festival day.

I was in the team as a team lead, as I gave the idea and managed everything from start to end. I must say teamwork is both good and bad depending on the nature of the work you are doing in a team and also the partners that are going to work with you.

I had a really good experience as it was my first offline experience and it had both boys and girls so I was very new to all this but Alhumdulillah I managed everything so well.

• There were many things that I learned from my team members and it became a really strong bond with them, they all were my classmates but I never had this type of coordination with them. While in a team each member became part of my life and I personally learned many things.

• Apart from being nice friends I also learned to keep the team happy, respect each other, better communication with each other and especially keeping trust on each partner that they will fulfil their responsibility.

• Along with taking responsibility for everything I also learned to be accountable for all the actions and for the actions of others as a team lead. It helped me learn how to keep everyone on the same path and improved my communication and leadership skills a lot.

Being in a team is difficult because you will have to listen to the leader and all other team mates. Sometimes you will have to put down your preferences and follow other commands.

In my case I was the team leader and as a leader I had to face a lot of obstacles and there were many hardships for me in that team.

• Firstly I had boys and girls both in a team, it was easy for me to coordinate and communicate with the girls of my team but the challenge was the boys, at first they were not serious enough to answer my calls, they were not available at the time of the meetings and I was so worried that how I am going to manage all of this.

• Secondly, half of my team members were from Chitral which is outside Peshawar so they didn’t know about the local places from where we had to bring raw materials. They didn't really know anything so I along with my other friend had to go and look for the raw materials as well.

• Other things was that I had to keep patience in all the situations because I was the team lead and had to bear all the hurdles. I had to keep everyone updated, keep things organised and at the same time listen to everyone and keep everyone on the same path.

Yes, I agree that one can achieve more by working in a team then individually. Teamwork has a lot of benefits and importance I will explain some benefit briefly,

Experiance

In team work one gains a lot of experiences from other people working in a team which can be seniors and people from different backgrounds.

A person’s alone experience can be 5-10 years but when he tends to work in a team his experience and knowledge increases to 100 years. This helps him achieve more knowledge and expertise than if he does the same work alone.

Increases Productivity

Teamwork also boosts productivity, as alone an individual may lack productivity but while working in a team you have a lot of other brains working at the same time and may bring out of the box ideas and initiatives that will boost your productivity and help you learn new methods.

Potential Recognition

Teams make you the best person, teamwork allows you to know yourself through your hard work and identify the potential inside you which you can not recognize while working alone. Because team members appreciate you for your good work and help you learn from your mistakes and how to overcome them.
