Assalamu Alaikum, everyone, how are you all? I hope everyone is well, and by the infinite mercy of Allah, I am also very well. Today I will share with you that a few days ago, a small fair was held in our area on the occasion of Mahfil.
Now, in different areas during different festivals, there are various small shops where daily necessities are available. And there are endless essentials that we don't always have close at hand. A few days ago, a small ceremony was held in our mosque. A small prayer ceremony was held for the grave residents of the area. Now I see one thing very well: where a majma of a waj mahfil sits, many people set up shops and earn money.
When this waj mahfil prayer ceremony will be held, four to five days before, a mic is rented and miked. It is said that a waj mahfil ceremony has been held on this date, and you are all invited to come to the mahfil. So after hearing that, some businessmen came in time to do business in that area. When the time of waj mahfil started, I saw many shops in the evening. Each shop was selling different kinds of goods, and there were a lot of people. The shopping was very good.
Then I went around all the shops and saw different people selling different things; some were selling children's plastic toys. The toys start at 10 rupees and go up to 100 rupees, and there are even more expensive toys. When these shops are located in the area, children gather in large crowds to buy these games and buy them for their children.
Then I went to another shop in front, and I saw onions being fried there, and many people gathered to eat these onions. Next to it, I saw inside another shop selling many types of sweet items with different names. People like these foods a lot, and everyone buys all the foods in packages. And these foods are available once a year, only on the first day of the Bengali month of Baisakh, when the fair is held. And now, this Waj Mahfil time is always available.
Then, a little further, I saw an uncle selling all kinds of earthenware. Now, day by day, sales of clay items are decreasing. People are leaning towards plastic items and LED inside items, which are very harmful for us. You may not know that I still eat rice in a clay pot. I will show you that in my next diary game. If we eat rice in a pot, our body health and heart rate are always good, and earthen things do not harm us in any way, so we should all use earthen things.
Then here, many types of Attar, Punjabi, Pajama, and Hat Meswak are available for Muslims. Here, everyone usually gets everything at a very low price and not much. So everyone can buy pajamas and Punjabi within 250 Tk to 300 Tk. And one can buy hats within Tk 20 to Tk 50 and perfumes within Tk 20 to Tk 50, known as Attar, so these shops sell more. Thank you for reading my post and giving your valuable time. Stay well and stay healthy. God bless you.

Hi, Greetings, Good to see you Here:)
Waj mahfil is organized in every area of our country which is a tradition of our Muslim society. It was very nice to see a small fair organized next to the Waj Mahfil. The pictures were really amazing. I saw such a shop when I was very young at the first Boishakh fair. In our area there are shops in waj mahfil halls but most of the shops are for prayer, tasbeeh, atar or some delicious food. Nice to see your post, in this way you will present some part of your life in front of us in which we will find some old memories of our life.
