Greetings dear friends,
How are you all my friends? I hope all of you are well by the grace of Almighty Allah. Alhamdulillah I am also well by God's grace and your love. It's been a week or more and I'm here with my next part. Here I am sharing the previous part Part 7 where I share some important information about The importance of Aeration tank in the biological ETP plant. Today I will discuss The importance of Sludge Return Pump in the biological ETP plant Besides I also discuss many more things. So friends let's start.

The sludge return pump is an important part of the biological ETP plant. It must be because this sludge return pump plays a major role in removing it from where it accumulates. The heavy particles in the water are cleansed for depositing on the bottom of the tank, and the pump is removed as soon as this sludge is deposited. The sludge return pump is running for 24 hours at our plant.

Our ETP is using 4 sludge return pumps. Sludge return pumps are located at the very bottom of the tank. With the help of pumps, the sludge accumulated at the bottom is lifted by vacuum force and this return sludge we again transfer to several tanks for use.

Sludge return pumps are set with 2 pumps at the bottom of the small tank along with the tube settler tank. In the next part we will know how this sludge gets deposited near the pump. However we control these pumps from our control room where they are manually or automatically controlled.

Sludge returned by the pump is transferred to three tanks. 2 of which are gel tank and aeration tank. The reason for returning sludge to these two tanks is because this sludge contains bacteria that work in wastewater treatment, so that bacteria can grow quickly in our plant and we increase the amount of bacteria by returning this sludge so that the bacteria does not decrease. But if the bacteria is high again it shows food poisoning, so we always check. Sludge volume and return sludge volume are checked daily.

And we move this return sludge to another tank from which we are dewattering through the filter press machine, and later dried in the sun and sent to various places such as bayer and for burning bricks. Friends I will try to describe the filter press machine in detail in a next part. So basically the sludge return pump works to complete these tasks. Hopefully today, you have got some idea about this topic.

That's it for today. In the next part, I will discuss the next step in the Biological ETP plant's water purification process. Till then stay safe, stay healthy. Have a good day.

I am thankful to the Steemit platform that through this I am able to present my work field to everyone on this platform.
