SEC-S15W1: The Wonder of Science

in Steem For Bangladesh5 months ago
As you said, "Science is an interesting subject to study and research, and it already has a great contribution to our lives." I agree with you but I did not agree with my father when he forced me to study it when the time came to select the subjects for further studies because I wanted to study arts and painting.

"The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know." - Isaac Newton

I am here to partake in the interesting topic started by steem4bangladesh "SEC-S15W1: The Wonder of Science". There is no doubt that we would not be the same as we are today if there were no scientific inventions. I have a lot to say on this topic and before I do so I will invite my friends @ridwant @weisser-rabe and @mini80

Note thanks to @josepha, @sumayaorin and @waqarahmadshah for inviting me here

You asked >Science has helped build a great civilization. - What is your opinion on this matter?

Apart from humans, many creatures in this universe have been living on this earth for millions of years, but they do not need to know about science. Similarly, even if there is no science, human life is also possible. but it would be like he lived in the Stone Age.

But if we look at what science is, then whatever knowledge a human being has in the form of science; right from the time a child is born, and as he grows up, he starts getting knowledge about his environment. Isn't that science?

Thousands of years ago, there was a primitive man. Getting food was his only aim in life. All the hard work of the day would be spent trapping the prey. He used to be very alert at night; there was always a fear of wild animals. One day it happened that a spark suddenly arose due to a mutual rubbing between two stones held in his hand. At first, he was scared, but then it started seeming like a game. He was enjoying it. Then he did the same experiment with dry grass kept nearby. Suddenly, it caught fire. He got scared again. Seeing this red demon, he ran away from there. But he quickly understood that this was not a demon but a blessing.

You said >How do you think our lives would be if there was no science?

Yes! Life is possible even without science. But how? Is it science that troubles our minds? After reading the complete answer, you will know once and for all what science is and how life is possible without it. So let me explain it to you in very simple language.

In this way, millions of beings with and without brains were living on this earth earlier and are living even today. Neither has he ever studied science, nor has he known it, nor has he ever felt the need to study it.

Science is a discovery, not an invention! Before we came into existence, this entire creation and the entire universe operated on certain rules and principles. We only started finding or identifying them and named it science. Just because we know them well does not mean that we are the best.

Our very clever minds have made many inventions with the help of science, discovered artificial solutions, and created facilities. From needle to rocket and from medicine to surgery, our modern life and civilization are dependent on so many inventions, solutions, and facilities. Other animals do not need it.

What we consider to be science is technology, without which today's modern human life is not possible. I am giving this answer because of him. Would I have been able to write this answer without a computer or mobile device, and would you have been able to read it? We are not living with the help of science but with the help of technology.

The world was going on even when the subject of science had not even come, let alone science; any subject had not come. Even then, day would come, and night would also come. Even then, birds used to peck at grains, and flowers used to bloom. But why?

If put in simple words, science is systematic knowledge of any subject. With the existence of science, we can understand why the day comes. Why is it nighttime? Why do birds peck grains? Why do flowers bloom? Why did humans come? How did you come? When did you come?

That is, science gives us an understanding as to why things are the way they are. Science never claims to know everything. Why does he always carry it with him to tell you that there is still more to know? Science has had a profound impact on human life. Today we have the most advanced technology, which makes human life very simple, but on the other hand, it also has some side effects. The phone, laptop, or other devices in your hand are all the result of science. Along with this, science has also given birth to some enemies of humanity, like the atomic bomb, obesity, incurable diseases like cancer, etc.

Yes, it is necessary to live life because, through this, many resources have been made available to us. For example, in earlier times, we used to cook food on the stove, but science has given us gas, on which we can now cook food comfortably. Let's say that in earlier times there were no means of transport available; to go anywhere, we had to travel miles on foot, but now science has made available to us many means of transport, due to which we can now go anywhere within a few hours. We can also go there; science has given us many other such resources. That is why science is necessary now.

At present, we cannot eliminate science from our lives, even if we want to. If we imagine a world without science, we only see a deep void. This can be proved through a common example. Imagine that if Edison had not invented the electric bulb, the whole world would have remained immersed in darkness. The invention of hearing aids has helped the deaf to hear, and with the use of artificial limbs, even handicapped people have become able to walk. Here, science has proved to be a boon.

Science is all around us. We are thinking, eating, running, or breathing. The principles of science are working somewhere behind all these biological activities. The emergence of science is the greatest achievement of man in the development of human civilization. Science has freed humans from many diseases and has also equipped them with innumerable daily facilities. Science can be called the faithful servant of a man who keeps following our orders throughout his
life.

On the other hand, if we misuse the power of science, it can lead to destruction in a moment. On the one hand, the power of an atom can spread electric light in millions of houses; on the other hand, if an atomic bomb is made, it can also bring darkness to life. Science has brought radical changes in every single area of our lives, and all this has become possible due to the tools made using the principles of science, which have simplified our lives. Wherever we look today, we will find that the entire world is dependent on the practical application of the principles of science in every aspect of our lives.

Here we will discuss some principles of science whose practical use of equipment and machines has made our lives comfortable and convenient.

You want to know >If you could ask a famous scientist one question, who would it be, and what would you ask?

The law of the force of gravity was invented by Isaac Newton. He was sitting under a tree in the garden and observed that when an apple is separated from the tree, it falls to the ground.

So, I would ask him, "Why did you feel that the apple had fallen to the ground? Have you ever seen anything start floating in the air?"

I know his answer, though, but I will talk about gravitational force. The Earth attracts all the substances towards itself with this force present within it, as a result of which all the living beings and other substances, including humans, remain stable on the Earth. If there was no gravitational force, as this force is negligible in space, nothing on Earth would survive, and we would all be floating in the air.

Share three amazing science discoveries that make our lives easier.

I would like to mention three scientific inventions, namely the source of energy, which was hidden in the sun until then.

Once we discovered how to generate and distribute electricity, it started working for us. By converting electrical energy into thermal energy, we use it in heaters, blowers, geysers, or air conditioning machines in winter. When energy in the form of transverse waves emanating from a source reaches the target material and produces vibrations in it, it is called sound energy. Due to this science of sound energy, we can hear the energy emanating from many electronic devices like TV, radio, etc. in the form of sound with our ears.

A major contribution was the invention of electricity. With the help of electricity, we illuminate houses and roads. As soon as the button is pressed, the house starts glowing. With its help, we can easily escape the cold by heating our rooms in homes and shops, etc., and with electric heaters, we cook our food. Trains, cars, and buses run on electricity. Electricity has also done revolutionary work for industries. Big machines running on electricity can easily make many items in large numbers for our convenience.

We can get rid of the cold weather by heating our rooms with electric heaters. Our food can be cooked using its values. Not only this, but all vehicles, including trains, run on electricity. Electricity has also done revolutionary work for industries. Big machines running on electricity can easily make many items in large numbers for our convenience.

All the appliances we use today, like washing machines, mixers, scooters, cars, etc., all operate on mechanical energy. The energy generated due to the movement of a device is called mechanical energy in scientific terms.

Today, no area of our lives is untouched by scientific inventions. Science has made possible the facts that were considered impossible in ancient times. From a small needle to an airplane that measures the distance in the sky, everything is the contribution of science.

Science has done great service to humans by inventing the internet. With the help of science, man has controlled many forces of nature and made them his slaves. It has made human life very easy and comfortable.

Science has made itself more useful by building dams on huge rivers and cutting mountains. By conquering time and distance, science has brought everyone closer to each other.

Then, with the invention of magnetic forces, we learned how to rotate and move faster. We invented comfortable and accessible means of motoring; vehicles, trains, fast speeds, safe ships, etc. are all the gifts of magnetic forces. Today, we can travel thousands of kilometers safely and comfortably in a short time by train. There is no fear of nature's wrath, bandits, etc. while traveling.

Then I will add that one of the major contributions of science is the easy means of communication. Through telephone, wire, and wireless, we can have direct contact with any corner of the world at will. By turning on the telephone in our house, we can talk to someone sitting in America or England as easily as if we were talking to a neighbor. This has brought great progress in commerce and trade. Today, goods made anywhere in any part of the world have become accessible due to means of communication.

Science has also presented many cheap and accessible means of entertainment to humans. With the invention of cinema, we can see unprecedented scenes and dramas for just a few rupees. The invention of radio and television has made the means of entertainment available to every home.

¡Holaaa amigo!😊

The science was always present all around us but we did not know how to use it. As much our minds developed we rediscovered them all. There is much yet to be discovered and that will change the world, either for good or not so good. Thanks and regards!

It put a smile on my face when you kicked things off by talking about how you were initially hesitant about studying science, wanting to pursue arts and painting instead. It's relatable because we all have those moments when we resist something, only to later realize its significance, just like that primitive man discovering fire. Overall, a very well-written post. I wish you good luck in the contest! 😊

Yes, art, painting, and sports so I reluctantly opted for bio-group but left it and went for PCM because that was kind of put off for me. I always wanted to be a cricketer and a photographer but you know the dads in our parts of the world! I am still a traveler and photographer in my heart! Thank you so much!

Dear, if you meet scientist Newton, ask a question. Want to know about the force of gravity. Why didn't the apple float in the air? Then you wrote about three wonderful discoveries. Internet, construction and magnetism are three truly amazing inventions. But every thing discovered in everyday life is a wonderful discovery. But I see medical science as a wonderful discovery. Medical science discovers vaccines and antibiotics during epidemics. Completes major operations by cutting open people's stomachs. Without science we would be backward in every field. We did not feel the touch of civilization. The world has become easier and faster because of science. Your science writing is very nice. Good luck to you.

You have done a perfect analysis of the benefits we gained through scientific inventions. I wonder what would be human's fate if all these have not been invented!

Congratulations!

Regards,
Without science, we would not have such a modern life. Our life used to be like that of earlier days which is like that of animals. I think in our life science invention is using this electricity the most. Electricity is involved in our daily activities. I enjoyed your entire article.
I also gave up chemistry as I found it difficult while studying in the science department.

Today, I agree with you but I was born and brought up when even the landline was a rare commodity. We used to enjoy differently and trust me we enjoyed our life. Now when we look back we feel that what we used to read in fiction is coming true. I am sure we shall see more developments and our future generations will discuss about them. Thanks for always supp meorting.

That's right, science is something that is present in every aspect of life but that depends on us whether we take it positively or use it for negative purposes!

You said science is all around us. From wake up at morning till going to bed, we are followed by science. We are thinking, eating, running, or breathing. The principles of science are working somewhere behind all these biological activities.

The emargance science is the greatest achievement of man in the development of human civilization. That's very well said. You want to interact with sir Isaac Newton, who have discovered Gravtional Law.

Have a blessed day dear friend.Good luck in the contest.

Yes it is, can you name anything which has no science in it? Even the plants and trees are dependent on science these days because their growth depends on different environmental subjects.
