SEC-S10W3: Teamwork Makes The Dream Work
Good day steemians, Today i'll be participating in the steemit engagement challenge by the steem for Bangladesh community on Teamwork makes the dream work

What does the phrase "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work" mean to you?
The phrase "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work" has a deep meaning to me as it illustrates the importance of collective efforts, working together, and collaboration in the achievement of a common goal. Singular efforts are not always better than cooperation and i have observed the result of teamwork in my academic and professional career and i will be sharing some of my experiences with regard to the topic in this post
Do you have experience being involved in team-based work? Feel free to share your online and offline teamwork experiences.
I was once enrolled in a computer science academy course, more like a BootCamp where we learned some technical in-demand skills. For the final projects, we were required to work in groups of 5 to which I was bestowed the responsibility of team lead and this was quite challenging as I perceive myself to work better alone, which means I'm not very good at team play.
As the leader, I was responsible for coordinating and delegating tasks and roles to each person in the team with respect to their respective strengths and capabilities. Although it was challenging initially, I later got to realize the importance of teamwork and in fact, the project wasn't something I would have been able to pull off alone given the time constraint.
What obstacles did you face in working as a team?
I do not know of any instance where working as a team is without obstacles so yes, we definitely faced some obstacles in the course of the final project. The first was having to deal with suggestions, everyone had opinions and suggestions to tender on how to go about the task at hand, and everyone felt the need to be listened and adhered to.
As the group leader, it was impossible to implement every suggestion that sprouted in the course of discussions. I, therefore, had to sift through suggestions and give a reasonable basis as to why some were discarded and some would be implemented.
Also, communication was lacking.
This is because the team was randomly selected and no one knew about each other prior to the task therefore we had to quickly get through the task of familiarizing one another to avoid delay.
The constant meet ups and discussions assisted in tackling the communication issue and i also adopted a democratic system of leadership where every one had a right to voice their opinions.
Is it possible that a person can achieve more by engaging in teamwork than individually? explain.
I believe i can best answer this question with a NO.
As someone who prefers working alone to working in a team. I've come to the realization that team work performs the work faster incorporation greater efficiency and effectiveness. This is because there is room for opinions which makes way for better approaches for the achievement of a goal as well as room for feedback and constructive criticism.
Teamwork also broadens ones perspective, insights and experiences as each member strengths are capitalized upon and weaknesses are covered
Conclusion.
Teamwork makes the dream work is not just a cliche. It's a term that I've come to understand through experience. As they say, experience is the best teacher. I would never have accomplished the tasks alone within the stipulated time but working as a team, having room for a division of labor, delegation, and specialization. Each of us worked on tasks we were better suited for and it ended pretty well.
WHO IS DOPPLEY
His goal on steemit is to make numerous connections with people and put out valuable articles for the steem community to consume and interact with. Basically to be like water, which slips through fingers but is still capable of holding up a ship.
He juggles many interests, writer, saxophonist, accountant, data scientist, trader, real estate agent and some others at once but his passion keeps him steady.

Estoy completamente de acuerdo con usted el trabajo en equipo hace que los sueños se cumplan nos permite lograr las metas en corto tiempo porque la suma de esfuerzos hacen que la meta se acorte.
Para trabajar en equipos es fundamental la comunicación y sobre todo conocer a cada miembro del equipo sus cualidades y posibilidades para así coordinar las actividades a realizar para lograr los objetivos planteados .
